I didn't start losing weight until I replaced my dinner with Shakeology in week 2. I blend the chocolate vegan flavor with half a banana, 1 tblspn natural PB, water and ice. It keeps my full all night and I have zero nighttime food cravings. And it made the scale start moving right away.

Your are supposed to be sore and you are supposed to keep doing the workouts daily...despite the soreness. The soreness will go away for the most part in the second week.

I am on week 5...recovery week. I've lost almost 9lbs and TONS of inches. Over 4 inches on my waist alone. I also replaced my dinner with shakeology and try to follow the Insanity meal plan as close as I can. I am hoping for even bigger results in month 2.

I am pretty confident I am getting more nutrients out of my 1,000 calories of clean eating than I was in my 38 years of eating 2,000 calories worth of french fries, pizza and mac n cheese. I am feeling healthy and great. When I get to my goal weight I will increase my calories but for now this is working for me.

If you aren't feeling hungry or tired then I don't see the point in forcing yourself to eat. I am generally at about 900-1100 calories. I am losing weight so I know I am not in starvation mode. I don't even know if I really believe in the whole starvation mode thing. If it IS a real thing I think you would have to be below…

Just an update. Since my post I upped my calories to 1300 and have replaced my dinner with Shakeology. I have seen a .4 lbs loss every day since. Next week I will try to add another 100 calories. I'm not sure if the increased loss is due to increased calories, shakeology or the woosh effect but am happy to see the scale…

I am on day 8 of Insanity. I love it and I hate it. I lost 2 lbs and 4.375 inches after my first week (2 whole inches around my waist in 1 week!!!). I'm only on Day 5 but I am getting a lot of motivation from becoming friends with girls on here who are also doing Insanity. I love reading their food diaries for new food ideas and love seeing them log their workouts and knowing they are going through all the same things as me.
