  • My best advice is starting off with C25k....I loved it. Then again, I couldn't even run a mile when I started. Next would be to listen to your body....and lastly STICK with it! I love the feeling of running further than I ever had, or beating my best time. Good luck!
  • These all seem more like diary entries more than any sort of question. Perhaps you could start a private diary? Also Kazik sounds mentally and verbally abusive, no?
  • So wait...you're the one that posted about the dog earlier and being sexually assaulted....You mentioned Kazimierz earlier too...I'm so confused what this post is even about.
  • I do mine like this and love it but my boyfriend says he doesn't like the consistency...something about being too soft. So when I know he's going to be eating it I'll throw it under the broiler for a few minutes before serving to crisp it up a bit. And I like others make the stock afterwards. When cooking the chicken I…
  • you look AMAZING!! Congrats on all your hard work and courage. Something that helped me at the gym was realizing I don't even notice all the others. I'm there working on myself. Chances are, so is everyone else. Then I realized...no one gives a crap what I'm doing so no more holding back! I also look forward to your goal…
  • Just had oral surgery and was worried about hitting 1200 as I was limited to soup. My solution was a peanut butter, banana and milk smoothie. Thick, cold and satisfying. Also a good number of calories if you do two full tablespoons of peanut butter.
  • spaghetti squash and shrimp. A new recipe I found on pinterest.
  • THIS. My best first date was with my current boyfriend. I think part of what made it great though, was the chemistry. I immediately thought, "wow this guy is different." We've been together 5 years now. That said, it was just drinks at a local neighborhood restaurant/bar. He was just so relaxed, honest and comfortable. It…
  • Finished week 4 today! Can't believe how much easier run 3 of this week was than week 1. This program is actually becoming "fun" for me as I'm seeing progress so quickly. I will take a rest day then Monday it's on to week 5. Love this forum you are all awesome for sharing your experiences!
  • I've also been doing this program on a treadmill. It's just way too hot out. Today I finished week 4 day 2. Amazing how much "easier" it felt today versus day 1. I love how fast I am seeing differences in myself. Looking forward to wrapping up this week and moving on to week 5!
  • Get some blood work done...CBC and a chem panel would be a good place to start. Don't mess around with your health when your body is giving you these signs.
  • good god I can't remember a time that I've laughed harder. I'm so sorry that you experienced that! Thank you for sharing though. Really, I just laughed as hard as I ever have for five minutes.
  • Finished week 4 day 1! I cannot believe the progress I've made in just a few weeks. When I started I STRUGGLED and even today I was scared of the run. Running for five minutes?! A couple times?! Three minutes is the short run? Ahhh! But I did it! I survived and I'm looking forward to my next run!
  • no. just. no.
  • I just finished week 3. I'm nervous for week 4 but excited at the same time. It is really...rewarding for lack of a better word to see myself improve so significantly so quickly. The first run week one I thought I was going to die. It was so hard! I know it's not much but just being able to run three minutes without…
  • That's awesome!! Congrats on your NSV!
  • I have ready some... let's say, exotic, points of views since being apart of the diverse MFP population but I am kind of surprised to see an actual "cardio hater." It...it doesn't make sense? ... I get not enjoying cardio...but hating? Deeming it pointless? Huh?
  • I'm all for doing my own thing but clipping toenails while working out? I would notice...and possibly care. That's really, really gross.
  • Oh my gosh that's great! I bet that felt so good to get into the smaller sizes! Congrats on your hard work!

  • That's awesome!!
  • You better get an agent, I feel like Dr. Oz might be contacting you soon.
  • Coconut water!
  • Well here's the other fun thing. I'm a full time intern. I have no money. I have 5 weeks left before I graduate. I don't have money otherwise I'd buy him a plane ticket back to wisconsin.
  • 5150 comes to mind.... I'm scared! Not in fear for my safety but...afraid I have no idea how to handle this!!
  • Maybe try some of those cinnamon capsules? When I take them my carb and sweets cravings literally disappear...I'm not diabetic that I know of but I know that it is a way of controlling blood sugar.
  • Spent the day interning in a hospital microbiology lab. Came home the to the love of my life preparing steamed clams with sausage and potatoes. There was also a small cheese plate with a glass of wine and big bouquet of flowers. What's even better was that the house was clean and the dog was walked. We're not very…
  • I used to work as a phlebotomist in a plasma donation center. I wouldn't consider it any kind of caloric loss because you're just going to replenish any loss.
  • Maybe try a probiotic capsule?
  • I'm on the pill. I hate it...like an above poster commented, my libido has tanked. I much rather prefer other methods but I am lacking health insurance right now so it's the cheapest option for me right now. But to answer your question, it definitely regulated my anything but regular periods. It's like clockwork now. I did…
