Weight loss is simply calories in vs calories out. If you have a higher input than output , you'll gain, the other way around and you'll lose. "Good" calories and "bad" calories are more of an overall health related thing. You can't be healthy and eat nothing but double bacon cheeseburgers from McDonald's, y'know? But you…

I have the same problem with my knees you do. I find that if I build up with walking, I can run without excessive pain, so don't give up! There is hope. Fitness games are great. Like, Wii Fit or Dance Dance Revolution, or Zumba, that kind of thing. I took ballet for a year or so and it really made a difference with my…

I disagree with this. I love to work out - if I'm doing the right kind of workout. I LOVE swimming, so my workouts are swimming laps in the pool at the gym. I hate running in the heat, so I don't. Exercise DVDs are boring, but I love the fitness games for my Wii and I can spend hours a day playing Wii Fit games. It's all…

Eat literally everything. ALL THE CHICKEN NUGGETS. ALL OF THEM.

Crew at McDonald's hoping to be a manager soon... :\ In school working on my degree in child and family development & special education.

Muscle is more dense than fat. Period. That's what that statement is trying to say. Everyone KNOWS that's what that statement is trying to stay. So.... can't we stop yet?

it's water retention and since your arms are usually down when you're walking, it kind of goes into your fingers. That's what my doctor told me at some point. Try to raise your hands when you walk, and drink more water while you exercise.

Thank you! :)

I'm not sure how to search topics.

I've wanted my belly button pierced since I was 14 or so, too. I just turned 20 and just got it done for my birthday. I'm really glad my dad wouldn't let me get it done sooner because I keep getting it caught on everything and it hurts so bad! I don't think at 14 I would have been able to take care of it properly, I feel…

You look awesome! Congrats on reaching your goal. It might just be that they aren't used to seeing you like that so you look different, which some people automatically express as bad. If I were you there'd be nothing in the world that would make me gain that weight back looking as good as you do now.

If you feel great and you're losing inches, why do you care what the scale says so much? If you're seeing inches come off, you're doing it right.

I can't recommend Hip Hop Abs enough if you like workout videos. The short video is on youtube and it's tons of fun to do, and you can push yourself harder or less as you need. Also Wii Fit is a LOT of fun, so is Dance Dance Revolution and games like that. Zumba is pretty great too. Swimming is an awesome exercise because…

Technically, you can eat anything without restrictions. Most people have bad luck though with greasy or fried food. From the people I've known who have had their gall bladder removed, pretty much the healthier the food is (veggies, fruit), the easier it is for them to eat. But it's different for everyone - the only way to…

sent you a friend request - I'm always looking for more active friends but I also prefer to communicate through Skype or such!

D: I eat just one poptart... and I barely eat that, because who eats the crusts of poptarts? eww. haha.

9. You have a beautiful smile!

Low blood sugar causes shakyness. I saw that you're eating 1400 and burning 700 cals, that's probably why. You're netting 700 calories a day and you're just not getting enough food. Eat more, feel better.

Apple Jacks and 2% milk.

It's only bad if you're sensitive to the artificial sugar and if it's all you drink. If you drink enough water and soda is extra it doesn't matter much. It's like everything else: okay in moderation.

Make sure you're not doing too much, too soon. And if it's just normal muscle soreness (not pain caused by an injury or medical issue), if you (lightly!) exercise what hurts, it hurts significantly less... if your legs hurt, take a slow walk, etc. I'm not sure if that works for everyone but it's what I've found to be best…

Weights. Work on building muscle, not losing flab... the "flabby" look will go away the more muscle you build.

It's not about the number on the scale. Don't get so caught up in "I need to reach THIS NUMBER and everything will be perfect." You should focus on what your body looks like instead of reaching that number. And, you could try building muscle rather than losing weight. Toning those areas that you're unhappy with might help…

Try to pace your breathing by your steps. Three steps breathing in, three steps breathing out - or whatever pattern works for you. It keeps you from getting into the holding your breath and then gasping when you're not thinking about it, or breathing in short gaspy breaths, that'll get you out of breath faster. Also try…

I like the far left "skinny" the best. Second is athletic. But I'm well aware it's unrealistic for me to expect my own body to look like that.

Keeping in mind I'm engaged but not married... Trying to remove porn from a relationship isn't the best idea. There is nothing wrong with looking at porn and it's certainly not cheating. If it's a big enough deal to you that you'd leave him for that then you should have talked about it BEFORE you got married. And if the…

Your post didn't entirely make sense to me, but if you're losing weight, and eating cake, then I see no problems whatsoever. :P

If you eat too little, your body adjusts your metabolism to be appropriate for that amount and you stop losing. At least that seems to be the commonly accepted idea. You should definitely eat more than 1000 calories a day. Not only is that unhealthy, there's no way it's sustainable forever. A "diet" should be a lifestyle…

You look incredible, keep it up!
