  • Like it's been said, patience is always key. It takes time for your body to adjust to everything you're doing. And if you keep it up, you'll certainly see results! Remember to keep your water intake up! That also plays a huge factor. Be proud that you're even trying, most people don't even get to that step.
  • That's a bit rude and presumptuous, dont you think? Anyway, my friend ate sorbet for like a week... not the best choice, but you could also freeze from fruit and nom on that!
  • They say any drink is "okay" but they suggest a few things: Drink out of a tall glass so that it looks like you have more and Drink out of a straw so you're forced to pace yourslef a bit ahah
  • When I get there in 17 days time I'll let you know! I'll be a mean, lean, healthy cooking machine! And I'll probably have to spend a bit more and go to M&S, since I'm sensing they'll have more of an option there...
  • The thing is, breakfast is an important meal for a reason. Ideally, to lose weight, you need your metabolism CONSTANTLY going. And what makes your metabolism move? Food. You have to think of your body as a car. If there's no gas, is it going to go anywhere? And if there's a little in, it'll stop in the middle of the road…
  • For me it hasn't changed at all! I still pee like 50 times a day ahaha. But hey, it's good for you, so :3
  • Very nice :)! Hey, you're allowed one day of gorging on food!
  • Excellent! I had similar in the sense that I ate what I wanted which was: My Jenny Craig turkey salad kit, half a sweet potato with a teaspoon of agave syrup, and some spinach. Then I had half a cannoli, half a slice of pumpkin pie and a fourth of this other thing I just wanted to try :lol
  • I think I had the opposite problem... I ate small amounts of things, but I'd eat small amounts of horrible things, which just made me gain so much weight. But I'm glad you're doing well!
  • Nice! I can barely run for 8 minutes, let alone 8 miles ahaha. But yeah, I can see how the allergies can be bitter-sweet, looks like they do help though when it comes to snacking! And I heard wine has a lot of calories... but it's good for you in moderation. :3
  • Haha, nice! Getting back on track is key!
  • Mhmm, it's definitely a hard feeling to deal with, which is why I try and limit myself on those occasions. But today is a new day, a new week even. You've got all the time in the world to make up for it. :)
  • @ FBmaddy55: Nice! Hahaha. I really, really wish I could have just let go and ate all the delicious food, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. But great mentality, that's what you gotta do, get right back on track. :) @cnhobbes: Yes! Working out can make or break you, good job! And *thumbs up* @ the portion control. :3
  • If only wishes came true! Anyway, wish me luckfor tomorrow!
  • Amazing job! You must be so proud :)
  • I don't weigh myself. I go once a week to the Jenny Craig center where I get all my food to get weighed in. I just nit pick the little things. It isn't a logical feeling, I know that. Yes, as long as I'm losing I really don't mind the pace! But of course, I think we'd all like to wake up at our goal weight ahaha. Yeah, I…
  • I don't weight myself! If I did I'd go nuts I think ahaha. I go to Jenny Craig once a week to see how I'm doing. It doesn't stress me out per say, but I just worry I've done something wrong. Even my Jenny lady told me not to worry. :P
  • Hahah, oh yeah, big time. I try not to stress, but I want it so badly it's hard not to.
  • 1250 isn't a bad caloric diet to be on. I'd say if you were still hungry, go the Jenny Craig route: we're allowed to eat unlimited veggies with every meal. They don't get counted into the calorie count as you burn them off quickly and takes little energy to do so. So if you find yourself hungry, add a cup of veg with lunch…
  • I had a plateau that lasted four weeks because of my period. I was so updset. Luckily, I didn't gain weight but I maintained for all that time. If I were you, I'd drink a lot more water to try and get rid of some of the water weig you probably have.
  • There are a TON of stuff, horrible stuff in diet soda. Hair, bones, you name it, it's probably in it. In all honesty, you're probably better off drinking regular soda, getting the calories than ingesting that.
  • Unless you're downing 10 gallons a day, you'll be fine. Though, constant thirst is often a sign of diabetes. If you find yourself to be thirsty all of the times, I'd maybe go check yourself out.
  • Hey! Great first step you're making here. I'm sure it'll make a world of difference. :)
  • *is 19* Well, I've not got any saggy skin as I haven't lot that much weight yet, but like everyone has said, you need to allow your body to adjust to all the weight loss, as well as doing lots of toning. The combination of the two should make a difference! But if it's extremely lose, sometimes it doesn't go away…
  • Thanks! Will do :)
  • I do think my height plays a big role in how much my weight shows. I've lost 11.5 inches from all around o I know e weight s coming off, but I probably want to see a big change haha. How would I post pictures? And thanks for the encouragement everyone, it helps a lot. :)
  • Thank you, it means a lot :) Maybe I am being too hard on myself, who knows. I ordered some tops in a size smaller than usual so I'll post pics when I get them!
  • As for clothes, yes, they do feel different, some of them. As I think I've lost the most in my upper body, shirts are fitting differently and it's nice, it really it. And I just started doing the 30 day shred! My poor, poor muscles ahaha. But it makes me feel good.
  • I have one from a year ago where I'm sort of posed on the side, and I think I look way different from there... I hope! :lol
  • I'm 5"7 so yeah, taller than you :) But I've also noticed that I carry my weight very evenly and lose it just the same. Ive been taking my measurements at Jenny Craig an I'm losing the weight from all over my body, not just n one place. Which is a great thing, but probably why I'm not seeing the loss like I'd like to.…
