  • I'm aware there's going to be a measure of error without the super expensive lab equipment, so what I'd like to do is check it a couple ways (calipers with coach help, handheld device, and I have a scale at home the creates the pulse to check body fat and water %'s). Ultimately I know I'm looking for an overall downward…
  • I'd like to bump this post. I had my breast augmentation in Feb 2013, and in Dec 2014 had a secondary surgery to adjust the implants since I was beginning to drop/pocket. My implants are also under the muscle and previous bottoming out wasn't helped with engaging my pectoral muscles as much as I did. I don't want another…
  • How do you find out how much potassium you need? I have just begun to start paying attention to it. Also, does anyone know the difference between a "Potassium Gluconate" supplement vs. just regular potassium? I had a difficult time finding the latter at the store the other night but there was a plethora of PG.
  • I love the idea of the "Small Plate Club!" Last year I watched my portions and got so much commentary from my family last year. But this year we'll be spending Thanksgiving with my SigOth's family, and I don't think I'll get as much heat about it. Does anyone else have any tips or tricks for surviving Thanksgiving dinner?
  • These are great suggestions... Thank you so much! I will give these all a try and see what will work best for me!
  • I get eczema on my thumb. I noticed my breakouts are worse when my sugar intake gets high. Rubbing the inside of a banana peel (weird, I know) is soothing. Also I use Cortaid ointment, not lotion.

  • Work is tough. Food is a social thing. If someones not partaking, then it's like some negative judgement is being passed in one direction or the other. It's stupid and annoying. Totally understand about caving after a while - you're just thinking about it more and more and you just want them to shut the F* up! I heard…
  • I am working toward my first LBD (Little Black Dress) - no matter the price tag. My breast size has also gone down since losing weight over the years and I've gone from a C to an A. I feel less feminine and more self-conscious without them. :( So I am looking forward to having augmentation surgery to get back the one thing…
  • I eat afterwards because I'm usually moving around a lot in my workout and it just doesn't settle well with my stomach to be digesting while trying to exercise or run. If I'm really sleepy, I might have a few sips to a cup of regular, plain coffee. If it's later in the day, I tend not to eat at least an hour before working…
  • Blackthorne, I log it as a cardio since the strength training asks for breakdown by each exercise - I just don't have the time for that kind of detail at the moment. So I "create new exercise" and will save it as "P90X Ab Ripper X" (or whichever routine) and log my minutes and calorie burn since I wear a HRM for every…
  • Just re-started P90X this Monday, completed Day 5 this morning, and found this thread just now. Definitely going to keep tabs with everyone here because I know when I hit the 2 week mark I'm going to start needing motivation! I've done P90X before (last year) and though I ate more sensibly, I didn't really keep tabs per…
  • Do you think the Lean program would be good for weight maintenance maybe?
  • I'm a P90X girl - just re-started week 1 this Monday (Was 2 weeks in, then got sick and needed to take a week off). I'm doing the Classic routine but would be happy to friend and motivate other P90X'ers!
  • Last year I made it through 80/90 days of classic P90X. I had great results - but consistency is key. My schedule tends to be all over the place so I had to really dedicate myself to getting up earlier in the morning to have time to do it before getting ready for work. I also had to tweak the schedule a little bit (I'd…
