You guys are amazing! Being a amateur lifter here but I must admit the shoulder definition that I have is inspiring so I'm always in the mirror doing some stupid pose to show off my shoulders. Not an expert, but you need to focus on PROTEIN for muscle..I was given advice that you need to get 1g of protein for each pound that you are when trying to gain muscle..I had my macros at 40% protein, 40% carbs and my at fat 20%. ^^^^^^^ this -- I LOVE TURBO FIRE!! I do it in my basement - i have the padded squares, please wear shoes and watch those knees - had a set back while doing this program and had to have knee therapy...it didn't stop me, I just modified and keep on going - great results - love Chalene Johnson!

Leslie Samsone is awesome! Great workout and very low impact. I would also suggest looking up wokout DVD's and search with key words "low impact". Also, if you are doing a workout dvd you can always modify the moves to suit you. Good luck - it's definitely possible!

I can't say that I've given up anything. But I do eat in moderation and allow it to fit into my calories. But I've always said I will NEVER GIVE UP PIZZA!

On week 4, today my heart rate got up to 205 bpm - NEVER has that happened! This CD is sooo hard and I go at my own pace and takes breaks when I need it. Good luck...I'm just striving for this to work for me...

I don't use a pre workout supplment either. I eat yogurt or a piece of fruit and make sure I'm already hydrated with water.

HRM is the only way to log your burned calories accurately...I can't live without mine. And I type my own descriptions into MFP for my workouts, I don't use Interval Training or Pilates...
