Add me too, please! It's my biggest struggle.

Great job!

One thing I do is put notes up on the fridge and cupboards to remind myself not to binge. Here's one of them. I also try to remind myself that the food is only going to taste good for a few minutes and then I'll just feel guilty and regretful.

You look great! What an inspiration.

If I think about how much I have/want to lose, I definitely get overwhelmed and discouraged. Instead I'm focusing on making smaller weight loss and health/fitness goals for myself and then making new ones once I reach them.

I've been a few times too. I LOVE garlic!

I definitely can't eat just 1200 calories a day. I was doing 1400 and now I've upped it to 1800 and eating back exercise calories. I only weight myself once a month, but I can tell I've lost weight/inches so far.

me please!

I used to weight myself daily and let every gain and loss get to me. Now I stick to weighing myself and taking measurements once a month. There's other ways I can tell I'm making progress, like my jeans fitting more loosely.

Meaning under eating and your body hoarding the calories you consume.

I used this calculator and figured out your TDEE is 1916. So a deficit of 287 to 383 calories a day. At 1200 calories a day you may not lose weight. http://www.fitnessfrog.com/calculators/tdee-calculator.html

TDEE is how many calories you burn at your level of activity. BMR is the amount of calories burned if you were just laying in bed all day. To lose weight eat 15-20% less of TDEE and eat back at least some exercise calories. What are your stats? Your TDEE seems really low for your BMR.

chocolate protein powder, cow or almond milk, frozen banana, ground flax. Yum!

I'd say In N Out. Or pizza. I choose to not call it a cheat though ;)

Definitely need to try this!

I drink a lot of water. First thing in the morning I drink a glass of water. The glass I use is big, it holds 24 oz. I drink another 24 oz after I exercise/shower. The rest of the day I just keep drinking water with food and just because I like it. I can easily go through 9-15 cups a day.

I've stopped eating oatmeal in packets. Maple and Brown Sugar was my favorite. Have you seen the ingredients? Not good. Now, I buy oats and add my own syrup and brown sugar. For added protein I'll sometimes add half water, half milk. I think it tastes better than the prepackaged stuff!

Hey! I'm 24 and have 100 lbs to lose. Feel free to add me!

I'm in the same boat. I had lost 30ish pounds about 5 years ago and kept it off about a year, then have gained it back PLUS 30 since then and I'm now 5 lbs down from my highest weight. Adding you and anyone else feel free to request!

I'm 5'6, 4.5 mph would be a jog for me, but I think I have short legs for my height. I normally walk a mile in about 17-20 minutes.

If you're mainly just eating canned vegetables, try fresh! They're a lot tastier, I think. Plus, I think there's additives in canned vegetables you won't find in fresh, like sodium. The only canned vegetable I'll eat is olives and corn. Do you have a farmers market near you? I have one in my town every Sunday, it's a great…

Here's a calculator if you want to see calories and all that. http://www.eddieoneverything.com/calculators/subway-sandwich-calorie-carb-nutrition-calculator.php

I have 2 sandwiches I get there. Either Italian, 9 grain or Italian herb and cheese. Veggies and Swiss with everything except jalapenos and add ranch dressing. or Turkey and Swiss with everything except jalapenos and tomatoes with oil and vinegar and salt and pepper. Both are a ton of calories!

Here's my main go to meals. Protein shake with frozen banana. Around 300 calories. Oatmeal with ground flax and sugar free syrup. About 335. 100 calorie Flat Out flat bread with grilled chicken (or ham), cheese, lots of spinach, honey mustard and sometimes half an avocado. Around 300-400 calories depending on cheese or…

I'm not really a fish person either. Chia seeds are supposed to be high in Omega 3. I've never had a problem with any fishy aftertaste. I've taken the Kirkland (Costco) omega 3. I was taking either 2 or 3 a day with food. Now I'm taking Nature Made Omega 3 that says burp-less on the front. But the Kirkland is a better deal…

This is all so inspiring! I know I have a long road ahead of me. Can't wait until I can post in a thread like this!

That's true. I pass up all the diet peanut butters like Walden's and go for the natural crunchy peanut butter. Yum.
