Too Funny!!! But so true!
-
So, so true, Matt. Planning and tracking EVERYTHING helps, and I know this b/c when I just grab something and eat it and it isn't the greatest option b/c I waited until I was too hungry to think clearly to make a healthy choice, I don't want to log it b/c I feel ashamed. But I make myself do it anyway. This seems to help…

Lately, I have just been walking, walking, walking. I am adding in a once a week fitness class, beginning next week, an early bird workout that I have participated in before. It is pretty brutal, just a good mix of cardio, strength, core, semi-circuit type workout. I really need to add some major strength training but just…

Thanks for starting this group! I am excited to be a part. Since 3/20/12 I have lost 3.4lbs mostly just by adding in pretty regular walks to my weekly routine. My neighbor and I get up and go for about 3 miles at least 3x per week. I have been doing pretty good entering my food on MFP over the past few days. I plan to…

That is AWESOME!! Congrats!

Glad I could help!

Happy Saturday everyone! I let this change in weather (feels like fall here in Central IA-and I LOVE it!!!) get to me over the past couple of days and slept in on Thursday and Friday so didn't work out. This morning, got up at 8 and got in my 30-day shred. I am part of a challenge group on here and should be on Day 5, but…

I am SO with you.....I HATE jumping jacks. I am trying to recall, but I think jumping jacks are in all 3 levels UGH! Ah well, they get my heart rate up so for that, I will try to like them  I am also only on Day 2 (did it this AM), though I SHOULD be on Day 5. Perhaps, we will like them better by day 5  (yeah…

I am 31yo, 5'5" and just over 176lbs. and my HRM this AM said I burned 251 cals for the workout. I am still on LVL 1 as I am still working out getting this in my normal schedule. Hope this helps!

I love coming here and reading these posts. Again, I failed to weigh in this AM and I refuse to weigh in at night :noway: so I will try tomorrow. I did read through all the posts but now can't remember everything so I will try my best to address them all. As for me, just crazy busy at work ALL THE TIME. We are still in…

UGH! I couldn't pull myself out of bed this morning so my day 2 won't be until tomorrow. But I WILL NOT sleep in then. I think this drastic change in weather made it SO easy for me to sleep SO hard. I don't feel too terrible about it. I have done some sort of exercise everyday since Sunday. I will do better, I promise!
-
haven't ready anything yet but wanted to check in and say HI! I will catch up on posts tomorrow, for now, BED. Good night all!
-
It could be worse...you could be like me and trying to blame your baby weight on your youngest...who will be turning NINE in less than a month LOL! Good luck to you!
-
I have discovered that I am not going to be able to do this consecutively. So, I will be completely behind everyone else, sorry. I am going to do my normal walks on M, W, F and Shred on T, Th Sa. I think I will still see good results! How is it going to far for everyone?
-
Don't think I posted here earlier today. Added another 2.7 miles this morning!!
-
I wasn't able to get mine in this AM, but did get me 2.7 mile walk in. I am hoping to find time to squeeze it in tonight between work, which ends at 5:30 (if I can get out on time) and getting the kids to church and myself showered and to small group which begins at 6:30. Wish me luck!
-
Anyone else notice any soreness today? I have been doing a lot of walking lately, but that does not at all compare to Shredding it!! I will have to hit the bed early tonight b/c my walking buddy and I hit the pavement at 5:30 so I will need to get up and get my Shred on before that. Whew! That is early! Good luck everyone,…

I usually eat them all. I know I might see faster results if I didn't, but I am not sure that not eating them is healthy. When I exercise harder and longer, I am hungrier. ETA: I just found this link that is helpful in explaining why we eat our exercise calories. I haven't been able to read the whole thing, just skim, but…
