I'm a weigh in every day girl too. I just like to know where I'm at. I only log on Monday's though which helps me be more in control over the weekends. I just logged a gain from Christmas....ugh, but it's Monday so I logged it because i want to be accountable for my bad behavior :)

Bump. Great suggestions. Going to reread some of these before my next party. Love tips like: island eating on a plate not by the handful, lots of water, eating lots but low cal alternatives prior to party so you have some wiggle room, one bite and dont finish unless unbelievably good.

Very interesting. I would be nervous I would gorge myself on non low carb days in anticipation of that kind of restriction. But I just may give this a shot if I hit a plateau. Thanks for sharing!

We are in a similar boat! I just finished my second week and feel like I DID better this last week than the first but the scale did not move much at all. BOO. Do you feel like this site over estimates calories? With no HRM and I'm not on machines very much at the gym (even though I'm not so sure how accurate they are either) it's hard for me to believe sometimes what it says

This is a comforting thread. When I'm on in always gain and I'm SUPER hungry. It really stinks because when I see the numbers go up I get discouraged and make bad choices.

Thanks Brooke! Great suggestions. I gotta get out there with my girls and walk more. One more question: when you would walk five miles would you log those calories burned and then give yourself some extra calories to eat or stick to only 1200??

Saisha you DO look amazing!! Way to go! I just joined MFP and this group. Still trying to figure it all out but keeping track of everything is really helping! Great Challenge this week. I love the part about being honest, doing 10 minutes more cardio and 15 min strength training. The little steps are HUGE. :)
