Thanks for all the suggestions! Today I ended up just putting the watch piece inside my sports bra right next to the transmitter and that seemed to work just fine. Not ideal, but at least it tracked properly. Most likely I need to replace the battery, but in the meantime I'll just keep the two pieces right next to each…

Now that I think of it, I did forget to wet the strap ahead of time, that may have something to do with it as well. I will definitely check the batteries too.

My steps finally showed up today!
-
I even tried clearing the cache and data from both apps but that didn't help. ETA: Just checked again, I have steps from yesterday but not today. At least that's something.
-
My adjustments aren't showing yet, I hope it will resolve itself soon!

Glad it's not just me!

That was really helpful, thank you! :)

I've been wondering the same thing! I have the same symptoms you do - low iron, migraines, etc. - and I was thinking about going gluten-free but don't want to go 100%...

This will be my second time doing 30DS, glad to have someone to do it with! :)

I lost 6 lbs and 11.5 inches when I did the Shred, it was awesome!
-
Thanks for the suggestions, everyone! :D

Hip Hop Abs is really fun! And of course, Zumba!
-
For me it was about 15 lbs, mostly because I lost a lot around my face, so it was more noticeable.

DEFINITELY use the app if you have a smartphone! It's a major help to be able to log food on the go. :)

I did WW about 5 years ago and lost 40 lbs before I messed up my knee... and I find that MFP is basically the same thing for free. For me, there is not a whole lot of difference between counting calories and counting points because the philosophy is the same - be mindful of what you put in your body and exercise to stay…

I posted this in another thread, but I might as well join in! I lost 6.2 lbs and 11.5 inches from the Shred. :)

I think what helps me is knowing that it won't happen overnight. The change will be gradual, and by the time you hit your goal, you'll be used to the way you look! At least, that's what I keep telling myself. ;)

Thanks, everyone! :D

Agreed, L2 is a lot harder than L1, but your body will adjust after a few days and you'll feel so much stronger and see great results.
-
I still have one day left, but I'm going to post my pics anyway. :) Pounds lost: 6.2 Inches lost: 11.5 (mostly around the chest haha!)

No need to get defensive, I was merely giving my opinion based on the OP's comments about cupcakes and eating "whatever you want." I certainly am not one to eat organic, etc., and I build plenty of non-healthy treats into my own diet. However, I do that with the full knowledge that when I put a sugary piece of birthday…
-
Sure, you can eat whatever you want, but you won't be any healthier than when you started if you're just putting junk into your body. A "treat" now and then won't kill you, but speaking as a self-saboteur, I can tell you that it's a slippery slope from one cupcake into binge eating an entire tray of cupcakes. Don't let…

I usually gain 2 or 3 lbs the first day and hold on to it for about a week before it disappears. It's annoying, but at least I know there's a good reason for it. ;)

I want to try this, but I'm totally confused. MFP tells me to eat 1400 calories a day, plus whatever exercise calories I earn, but the three zig-zag calculators I tried are telling me to zig-zag between 1800 and 2100 calories... and I have to eat exercise calories on TOP of that? That can't be right... Any advice would be…

I'm still hanging in there! On Day 2 of Level 3 and determined not to measure until the final day. :) But I feel SO much stronger than I did on Day 1!

I retain a lot of water when I have over 2000mg of sodium a day. I've cut back on cheese and packaged foods (not all) and that has helped a lot. Also, Morton makes a great salt substitute that has no sodium and lots of potassium.

I haven't been under 200 in a decade, I'd love to get there again! Feel free to add me if you want. :D

I love Zumba! They recently started doing Zumba classes at my Curves and we have so much fun. I'm incredibly uncoordinated, so I know I look like a moron trying to dance like that, but it's a great workout! :D

If I can do it, so can you! The first few days really hurt, but then all of a sudden you feel invincible! :)
