I eat on average 65 grams of fiber per day. My sources: fruits, veg, nuts, oats, beans.

Thanks everyone! I really appreciate the support. The thing that kept me going was how I felt. To longer be obsessed with foods was amazing. I had struggled for so long. There was no way I was going to jeopardize that.

I will be glad to accept it!

Thanks so much!!! To have peace of mind around food is worth all of the effort I have put in.

That would be great. Thanks, Terry!

I used to swim a ton, and I loved it, but I have a toddler and no one to care for him while I go to the gym, so I have to find something I can do at home. I have wondered about recumbant bikes and ellipticals. I will try them out at when I shop for a machine next week. Thank you!

Thanks!

I've been a vegetarian for eight years and vegan for about four months. It is a wonderful, healthy way of life and very, very easy to keep in control of calories.

Great work!

Incredibly well written! go you!

New Balance are the only shoes that have helped me.

I plan on doing those things, as I said earlier. Thanks! No gyms here allow children to come and they have no sitters. :(

I love Leslie. I lost 100 lbs using her videos before, but I work while the kid sleeps. It is the only way I get work done. I might try take them to work and doing them in my office during lunch time.

Thanks so much! You give me hope.

Thank you all so much for the helpful suggestions. I made a list of things to check out. I have thought that maybe during my lunch break at work I could fit in some body weight exercises and stretching. I walk a ton, about five miles a day, but I doubt it will do much good with the sag. My husband is a truck driver who is…

Only that I am not making excuses. If I am not working, I am taking care of my child. I sleep four hours a night. Until he goes to school, there will be no gym time. That is all. I was hoping for something I could do in between now and then.

Thanks so much. I work 70 hours a week. I am not making excuses. But you can be that way if you wish.

Good for you! I have been free from the scale for a few days, and so far, I am loving it!

Add me!! I will turn 40 on Halloween! I need motivation!

So incredibly inspirational!

After twenty years, two infant losses, and three miscarriages, I finally brought my baby home. He is two now. Some things that helped me: 1. South Beach diet 2. Metformin 3. Meditation 4. Exercise.

After being ovo-laco pescetarian for seven years, I became a vegan in the last three weeks or so. I eat just two servings of non-gluten grains per day, and it has really helped accelerate my weight loss and eliminate cravings.

Oh, I have so been there! I get that! I think you might have to talk with her a little bit and explain why you are doing what you are doing with emphasis on how much your love her food and her. Hugs!!

I did get a lot from this thread. I really did. I appreciate everyone's input, even the ones who do not understand because it forces me to learn how to explain better.

Of course I am talking to professionals. I came here hoping to get some advice on what other people have done in this situation. I value my therapists and the support groups I am in, but I thought maybe some of your might have something different to add.

Thanks for nothing. As for the rest of you, I appreciate your attempts to actually understand. :)

Wow! I step away from the forums for a day and boom! Thank you all so very much for responding to my question, especially those of you who are trying to answer my actual question and not debate the addiction issue. I am addicted to foooooood. Some foods, like processed sugar, gluten, and dairy are trigger's for that…

I have an eating disorder, and my therapist says that I am in fact addicted to gluten, sugar, dairy, and a number of other foods.
