  • I have lost 50 pounds and it was really hard. To lose that much by the end of april i suggest working out at least 4 days a week if not 5 or 6. I am a mom and work and its hard to find the time but you have to to lost the weight. Also, make sure to ALWAYS eat at least 1200 calories a day. I know its easy to feel the less…
  • I have lost 50 pounds but it took me a year and 4 months. I also took it really slow and really only needed to lose those 50 pounds and the last 5-10 pounds were what took the longest. I did it eating enough and working out 5/6 days a week and have kept it off. Just make sure you are eating enough calories everyday because…
  • VEGGIES!!! I am a huge muncher too and need something to chew on and if i have fresh veggies i can eat them and they are just a fraction of the calories in regular snacks. If you dont like straight veggies try dipping them in hummus or maybe try some red wine vinegar or garlic with them.
  • I am 5'2" and my ideal weight is 115. Right now i am at 121 and am pretty happy with it but at 115, i am rid of most of the rest of my jiggle. Any less than that though and i start getting into too-skinny danger zone
  • Seriously, this site was the only thing that worked for me because it isnt about crash dieting or doing things that are dangerous for your health. It is about teaching you to change your eating lifestyle and make it into a healthy one. I love this site and in the past year have lost over 40 pounds just from eating right…
  • Rest!!! Also, drink lots of water so that you are hydrated before. I would also take 2 ibuprofen about an hour before you run. That will lessen / prevent any swelling and pain while ya run. GOOD LUCK!
  • My biggest motivator is i keep a picture of me at my highest weight on my fridge. Sounds weird but whenever i go to pull food out of the fridge i look at that and remember that eating so frequently and unhealthily is how i got that big and seriously it helps me say, wow i'm really not that hungry. Also, i plan my whole day…
  • try interval training. running for a few minutes than walking for one. this reduces the stress on your knees greatly!!! I have bad knees and when i started doing intervals instead and my knees have been SO much better!!!!
  • First off, drink LOTS and LOTS of water! Alot of times when you feel hungry it is that you are dehydrated. Strange i know but true. Also, you can find a fruit or veggie you like to snack on. I eat a TON of baby carrots! It will get better! Your body and stomach has to adjust to changing your daily intake and ya just gotta…

  • No mine are usually between 300 and 400. Its good to have a big breakfast because it jump starts your metabolism. As long as its healthy calories and not a ton of sugar you are good =)
  • Its beause you are building muscle!!!!! I try not to focus so much on the scale because i had the same problem when i first started exercising. When you start of with almost no muscle tone, you have to build from nothing and muscle weighs more than fat so you are losing fat and gaining (heavier) muscle! Focus on inches…
  • RUNNING! I am a huge advocate of running! It is how i have managed to lose and maintain my weight up to this point. Works most of your body. Also, try intervals. I did that and it makes it so much easier! It is ieaser on your body and is much better han straight running. I started at a 1min run 1min walk, than slowly uped…
  • Hello!!! I actually joined this site when i was pregnant with my first because i gained 10lbs in 2 weeks and my nurse was pretty harsh on me over it, so i realized i needed to get myself into check. Ended up only gaining a total of 30 by the end of the pregnancy and lost it withing 6 months of her being born!!! This site…
  • Hey! I started at 170 and am working my way to 125. Am stuck at 133 right now. WOuld love an extra support and accountability buddy!
  • Find time to exercise to vent some of the stress. I have a newborn and sometimes get soooo burnt out and stressed and dont want to eat so instead i go for a run which releases endorphins relieving my stress AND makes me hungry =)
  • i so understand! my favorite part of this website is the support system it offers!!!! =) feel free to add me! would love another person to be accountable with and encourage!
  • First off: Would love to be an accountability buddy!!! Feel free to add me! Your best bet for running is to do intervals. Start with a 1min run, 1min walk. Than once that is comfortable up the run by 30 seconds. Everytime it gets comfortable add 30 seconds until you are at a 5-1 ratio. It is so much better for your body to…
  • Anyone can run! Just dont take it too fast! Start with intervals. Do a 1min run than 1min walk. Than after that becomes comfortable up it to a 1:30 to 1 and just keep upping it as it gets easier. Thats what i did and it made it so much easier! Plus when you do intervals it is better for your joints!
