By working out at a lower heart rate, you can actually burn more fat and subsequently you'll get better results on weight loss. Working out in high intensity zones all the time has a double negative effect for…

I have four specific goals for 2012 related to health. 1) Reach and maintain my goal weight (60 lb total loss) 2) Cement in my recent lifestyle change on exercise (3-5 times per week for 1 hour) 3) Make permentant lifestyle…

6' 1" 42 year old male with a 190 lb target. It's a little over what the charts said but Dr thought it was the right weight for my frame. I was there briefly almost 8 years ago and now I'm aggressively working to get back!

Agreed. Nasty. I don't care how good it is for me ... it's a pass.

It's great to know I have a problem like this to look forward to. I still have that nice layer of warmth ... but I'm working on shedding it!

Hilarious. Love it!

My trainer just told me yesterday that egg whites are the only pure (no carb, no fat) source of protein on the planet. Also, whey isolate protein is supposedly a great protein source ... easily digestible protein great for first thing in the morning and post work out.

Sounds great. Thank you!

My only advice is what I know works for me and that is regardless of weight watchers or whatever other tool you use, a huge key to success is journaling. I just…
