I personally don't think you're being careful enough with your food intake and you're definitely not expending enough calories during your walks..Try walk/run intervals..

If you want to feel your best, you can't eat processed CRAP. Sure, you may lose weight, inches, whatever. But you're not living at your best potential. If you really can't live without white rice..Wow. Sounds like an addict to me. What's the point of trying if you're not going to go 100%?

Varying degrees of water retention, hormones (especially women), and whatever you're digesting at the time has an impact, and I'm sure there's psychological influences as well.

i think that's a little extreme. people join MFP to keep a food and exercise log for their own personal reasons. while i agree having an extra set of eyes is helpful, it is a personal preference. as long as you can seriously look at your diary with an objective eye, you won't need anyone else's input.

I wanted to add that I am not a doctor and I cannot tell you if you should get your moods checked or not via the internet. That is a judgement call you must make yourself and I am only speaking from my own personal experience.

I have also been diagnosed with depression and honestly i think your body is going through a detox of sorts with your new diet and exercise regimen. I record everything but fruits and vegetables. Edited to add: I have shed 45 lbs this way - it doesn't seem to affect me. I'm not going to revolve my life around a food log - sorry.

Your guilt issues with food need to be addressed by a professional. If you work out, you're going to be hungry and need to eat, and if you can't eat enough, you won't hang on to muscle. You will be going in circles unless you can give yourself the nutrients you need.
