Those numbers are really just estimates....I have seen cases of actual BMR's being hundreds below the what the calculator says. I know my BMR/TDEE is lower than it should be, and I eat accordingly. I'm petite, I don't need much food, I do not need to eat 8 times a day or whatever. I lift heavy, I do cardio, I eat clean,…

What I find interesting is that while our country idolizes thin as beautiful, we continue to tip the scales as the fattest culture in the world.. Why?

Honestly, I don't notice anyone unless it's someone in particularly good shape, or really sexy, or both. ;) If I do notice an overweight person, I always feel a HUGE amount of respect for them because I have been through that struggle and felt afraid of the gym just as you do. I respect every single person in the gym…

1.5 pounds in two weeks? That's almost a pound a week. You have to be patient. If what you're doing REALLY isn't working after a month, then look into changes. By the way, most people have to work pretty hard to maintain their goal weights. You gotta stay on top of it.

You can change what/who shows up in your news feed easily, without blocking contact or un-friending them.

Dilute juice with sparkling water.

Two weeks? That's not enough time for your body to adjust. Check your weight and measurements after four weeks and see if you need to make adjustments. I actually didn't start seeing results until six weeks. Busted my *kitten* in the gym, too.

clean diet, a bunch of cardio and weights.

Women are notoriously competitive with weight loss . She's intimidated by your self-control. You have the upper hand, don't let her manipulate you.

I KNOW, right? Some people start ChaLean (slowwwwww lifting) at 5 POUNDS. Give this chick a break, you freakin TROLLS. God, some people on MFP must be so bored that they have to pick on anyone and anything they can find.

I took 'dopamax' for some time as well. It gave me hallucinations and I couldn't talk right, I would always jumble my words. It made me so slow, dumb as a stump. Don't think I had any weight loss, i Wish!

Ideally, as a beginner, you should do a about 3 days a week of lifting (with light cardio warm up) and do something like HIIT(high intensity interval training) the rest of the week. I'm not a doctor, this is just my experience. Take the time to learn how to lift properly to avoid injury and get consistent results. If you…
