Couch to 5k for sure. I never ran as far as the mailbox prior to (and hated every minute of it) Now I can run a 10K! Best way to start!

when I was not eating all my net calories my weight loss stalled....eat the net calories...thats what works for me. So if your goal is 1200 calories a day your net calories that you should consum should be 1200. it already factores in calories burned.

oh and another change I made. I upped my calories to 1250 from 1200 and I eat all my calories burned so that I net the full 1250 consumed. That seems to have jump started the weight loss. MFP says I should eat 1200 but I just dont feel it was enough. And although 50 calories a day increase doesnt seem like much it helped

Yes! It just happened to me. Started Power 90 on Jan 11th. Stayed within my calories and did not miss a workout. By day 14 I had gained 3lbs. But I am sooo glad I took measurements because I had lost 1 inch on my belly and .5 on my hips (my 2 biggest worry areas) So I was relieved! As of today. Day 21 I am back down in…

Her goal is set at 1200...I agree she is not eating enough however her goal maybe on target. I am 5'3 and weight 150. MFP set mine at 1200. I actually increased it to 1250. I did take measurments but I was going to wait until the 30 day mark to re-take (Feb 9th) I have been working on increasing the water intake I usually end up around 5 8oz's so need to increase there. Exactly, however if she has never used weights before she very well maybe failing the 8-12 reps at the 5lbs. Its all relative. I hadnt used weights in over a year. When I started again (just a few weeks ago) I would use 5lb weights and would be failing by 10 reps. But on some of the move (mostly the back ones) I could use…

I just saw this and I also started on P90 on 1-11-13. I am also using 5lbs to start and that is perfectly fine. After 2 weeks-3 weeks I am going to increase to 8lbs or 10lbs depending on how I feel. Your a little ahead of me so I am just curious How are you doing so far.....
