I started Power 90 on Jan 11th. I have not missed a day on the plan in 29 days. I have stuck to the calories allotted for each day 97% of the time (exluding super bowl). I am currently TTC. My question is I am currently "budgeted" to consume 1200 calories a day to lose an average of 1 pound a week. Once I am pregant I have read that you should consume 300 calories more per day. However this is based on regular diet (not trying to lose) Should I just consume 1500 calories a day?

Can Not Believe!
I have been sick for almost 2 weeks. Had a head cold to start with, then stomach flu followed up by another head cold. Needless to say I have had no energy to workout. I did it!
Completed my first 10k yesterday!! So excited! I finished in 1 hours 6.29 minutes! It was a beautiful day suny 65 and perfect for the run. I was so nervous that I would not be able to do it. So yesterday I did not workout and had a glass of red wine with dinner and a 120 calorie dessert. Just curious...I typically do a 45 minute workout a day, they very. But when I do my workout DVD (jullian Micheals, Teabo, etc.) they are about 40 minutes and I typically burn about 400 calories (according to HRM polar f6) My question is why would every once in a while I burn 525. I want to get a new HRM, I am looking for a good accurate one..however I cannot stand to wear the chest strap. There is one I found on-line called the ePulse strapless. I was wondering if anyone has purchased or used this and how it worked for them it runs between $99-$129 on different sites so I am thinking its a decent…

Update..
Just wanted to let you guys know (and thanks for all the input) that my heart rate of 188 :noway: during excersize was wrong. (the elipitical reading) I purchased a new HRM watch and I am between 160-167 during the peek of my routine. Good news is I am not going to have a heart attack :happy:

Confused
My "target heart rate" to burn calories should be a MAX of 153...I am usually between 180-188. If I slow down any I feel like I am not even breaking a sweat. Any thoughts or am I calculating it wrong.

I typically drink 2-3 cups of hot tea a day. I gave up coffee and this was the substitute. Can I count this toward my water intake?

Confession
I feel so guilty...but I shouldn't. I ate all my exercise calories......in M&M's....thats right 2 bags for a total of 470 calories!! That is the first time i did that since I started.....I even felt a little sick after. Thank goodness I put the extra time in the pool (water aerobics) but I won't do that again! I felt gross!

Does anyone have a guess as to the amount in a bowl. I am currently on a soft diet due to an oral surgery. I have been eating a lot of soups during this time and find that alot of times the serving size says 1 bowl....is this a cup, 1/2 cup, 2 cups????
