Does anyone have a guess as to the amount in a bowl. I am currently on a soft diet due to an oral surgery.
I have been eating a lot of soups during this time and find that alot of times the serving size says 1 bowl....is this a cup, 1/2 cup, 2 cups????

I hate when people put that sort of half assed measurement in our food database... what the heck is a bowl. It could be anything really! I would have to guess that if it is a normal sized cereal bowl and you have it at least half full, it would be roughly a cup (250 ml). That's pretty close.0

I think a bowl is usually 1 cup (that's what one serving of soup usually is)0
