My polar F4 bit the dust after 4 years. Should I go for the same or choose something else? Who loves the one they have and why?

I have Garmin Forerunner 410 and it transfers data (HR max min/ Cals/ time / maps runs) to their website and tracks activities. It's also a GPS. I love this device. I have never used the Polars.0 -
I just bought a Polar H7 Bluetooth HRM. For my purposes, it's amazing! I pair it to my ipad mini when working out at home, and it gives me a good sized screen to view my HR and cals. I think it pushes me harder! When I'm on my bike or walking, I pair it to my iphone 4S. Then I can log in to the polar site and see my workouts from both devices in one place. I think it's perfect setup for those with compatible Apple products.0

Absolutely. Just turn off GPS. I have used it for P90X days/CrossFit classes and now track exercises I make up in my garage/gym in addition to monitoring runs/biking. Do you use thier website to track your activities?0 -

I also agree with getting a Garmin, definitely worth the money the spend on it. I just like to always remind people as well that you pay for what you get, not matter what it is.
I love my Garmin though I got a 110 as I just wanted it to help with my burn counts and my running (tracking routes and distances as well as pace and burns at the same time). But the 410 is compatible with more fitness armbands as well so you can dual track that way which makes me wish I got the 410 for that as I use the BodyMedia Fit LINK as well. If you google "Top 10 Reviews HRM 2013" you will get a page that can also give you more detailed information on the top 10 HRMs on the market and what they can do for you.0 -
I've had my Polar FT4 for a month now and love it. I use it to track the amount of calories burned for every workout that I do.0

I put the data on the Garmin software that came with the watch, but use Endomondo to share with my contacts (mainly for cycling)

If it lasted 4 years it sounds like a good investment to me. Why not go for another Polar? Perhaps the FT7 if you want an upgrade or you can still find FT4s out there for quite a good price.
I love my FT7. The only regret I have is that I didn't wait just a little longer to get mine because shortly after I did they came out with the bluetooth version. LOL.0
