Successful in what, hitting some arbitrary goal weight?
you should stop posting your negativity everywhere...0 -
Successful in what, hitting some arbitrary goal weight?
BTW I've been obese, all I did was ask what the OP's definition of success was, it it is hitting an arbitrary number well meh. Scale weight while possibly a great motivator means very little. Too many people define success with the scale which is why you see so many freak out posts about not losing or zomg i gained a lb, since they have only care about a silly number on a scale vs looking at other factors that may be improving
there is always at least one of these guys out there... can't let people have there fun... always critical of others, must be a joy to be around...
What is he even doing reading a thread like this given his comments? Oh, I know why. He must be one of those who feels bigger when he can make someone else feel less about themselves. Sad way to live a life.0 -

18 months to lost 85 lbs
Started at 1800 for a while, slowly down to around 1600. Now I'm eating 2000 per day.
I aimed for a 500-750 calorie deficit until I got to about 145 lbs, then I started aiming for about a 200 calorie deficit per day. (assuming set to 1 lb per week, then yes I ate my exercise calories, but what I did was set it to maintenance and aimed to have 500 remaining at the end of the day)
THANKS in advance!0 -

Hi Im Luan
female
start weight 225lbs
weight now 164lbs
weight after inital weightloss 154lbs
took me 11 months
didnt eat my exercise cals back and there were quite a few.
I ate 1200 calories 6 days a week and pretty much had a day off where I had what I wanted (within reason) and enjoyed my fave tipple Wine.
I maintained for over 6 months but recently gained 8lbs due to taking my eye off the ball, moving house, working too much and general life getting in the way. Im back on it now.
Good luck with yours it takes serious clout and dedication and love of yourself :O) xxx0 -
