  • Well...I'm not working on anything at the moment because I'm trying to shed another 50lbs (or 3 sizes ((US))...which ever comes first) but I have many, many, many ideas that I can't wait to try!
  • I haven't tried this yet...but...this site (blog.fatfreevegan.com) is my favorite site and I found this one you may want to try!! http://blog.fatfreevegan.com/2010/10/ridiculously-easy-vegan-buttermilk-salad-dressing.html :)
  • I've been vegan for over a year now and never fell ill from my diet (I did get the flu and the common cold but I've had a low immune system since I was young so that's typical of me). To add extra precaution I take a multivitamin just be safe and make sure that it has B12 in it. If anything, my health has improved since…
  • I've found (after losing 50 pounds so far) that my own self esteem and confidence has grown significantly. I've found that I'm more out going than I was 50 pounds ago and finding it easier to talk to people. 50 pounds ago I was very, very shy, due to self esteem issues, so to be getting over that shyness is a personal goal…
  • One motivation we've found for my husband's younger brother is a game from the late 90's early 2000's called DDR (Dance Dance Revolution). He loves playing the game and that may be something to look into. Play Station 2 is the game system and any DDR games for it will work. Since it's an older Play Station it's very…
  • Skimmed through this article but is gives some basic knowledge. http://www.nola.com/health/index.ssf/2013/04/coconut_oil_when_saturated_fat.html I prefer coconut oil while cooking because I think it taste better. But, there were a lot of articles out there with different theories about coconut oil. So, just look around…
  • It's okay to go over your calories one in a while. Some say it actually helps you to kick start your body with the extra calories. If you are still feeling back just take a walk or do something productive that will make you sweat a little bit. :-) Then, tomorrow, just get back on track. But never, ever, starve yourself. :(…
  • That's fantastic! They say go by what you see (picture wise) and what you lose (inches wise). I do all three. I'm going to base my journey off inches and how I look but I'm also curious to know how much I'll lose. Keep it up! You'll be there before you know it. :-D
  • My NSV was being able to get on an elliptical and my thighs didn't rub together! My second one would be that I can jog (in spurts...doing C25K) half on my complex once around (it's about half a mile all the way around so a quarter mile each time I go around) when about two months ago I could barely jog from my door to the…
  • You look great and congratulations on the new baby! :)
  • Fantastic job!! You can really tell! As a fellow Vegatarian, your best bet for protein would be beans. You can get it from other things like avocados, tofu, etc. But beans (black, chick pea, etc) are your best option. I hated beans but I'm slowly starting to accept them into my life, lol.
  • Couldn't have said it better myself! Most persons think it's as easy as eating 1200 a day and just exercising. But it's more than that. It's a simple science to figure out who your body needs. Personally, I'm still seeing what works for me and what doesn't and I've been dedicated for two and a half weeks now. I know it's…
  • Cute. I'm more PC gamer, though.
  • We (more like my hubby) got it yesterday and I watched him play. It brought back memories. I'm patiently waiting for him to finish the story so I can run around and steal cars...my favorite thing to do, lol. Story is kind of entertaining so far, haven't heard some words be said so much in my life and I kind of don't like…
  • Fantastic!! :) Nothing better than being able to wear things that became too tight!
  • I am almost a year into being a vegan. It happened overnight, literally. The night before I had a huge turkey bacon, ranch sub and the next day I'm enjoying five bean chili loaded with veggies! I have never felt better! I still have organic honey (only if it's organic) but I've cut everything meat and diary related from my…
  • There is so much I would love to cos play as! But, I think once I lose my weight, I'm going to dress up like a witch from Path Finder, first. Edit - Minus the super long nails, lol!
  • I find tattoos are a great way to express myself to people who don't know me without saying a word. I have them in spots that won't cause any trouble until I learned at work that, as long as it's appropriate (no naked women, etc.) it can be shown with no problems. I may only have two but they mean everything to me and my…
  • Bumping for later!!
  • Pavement puts more shock into your legs while running on it. Tracks and trails that aren't paved are softer and easier on the joints. I've noticed I can run easily on a treadmill but not so much on pavement. Though, running on pavement has gotten slightly easier since I've bought a more cushioned shoe...maybe that's your…
  • 24 and 6'1" :-D Sent an invite. Anyone else is welcome to add me!
  • I'm 6'1" and 35 pounds down and I'm the same way! However, I have noticed small changes like my clothes are fitting better and my energy has spiked way up. :) We got this in the bag!!! Keep it up ladies you look wonderful. <3
  • My family usually says that, I say "Thank you" when they ask how I did it I bluntly tell them. Not rude at all but short and sweet. For me, I became a vegan 6 months (April 13 will mark the full 6 months) and haven't exercised much do to my joints acting up really bad in the winter. So, I simply just state, "I went vegan"…
  • My NSV just happened for me! Husband's grandmother made me an infinity scarf (seen in my picture to the left) and while looking at it on facebook I saw, in the corner of my eye, a picture from my wedding in October. I've lost almost 30lbs since then and instantly saw how slim my face looked. Couldn't help but smile! :D
  • My favorite comment is, "God made animals for us to eat." Then why do we have smooth teeth, longer intestine than animals like cats and dogs who's intestine are smaller and made to digest things a lot faster than us? If we were to meat the right way, it would be to hunt the <insert animal> by using our teeth, tearing at…
  • Welcome to the vegan world! My husband and I have learned about the horrors not only that happen to your body but what happens to animals and, after 23 and 22 years of meat eating, we have tossed it all away and have now started to eat only fruits and veggies. (We started the beginning of October, 2 weeks before our…
  • Hello all! I'm a recently new face to the vegan world but have opened my arms and my heart more than I ever could before because of this life style. The look, smell of meat that I once loved makes me crinkle my nose. Two weeks before I tied the knot to the love of my life in October 2012 we found a video online that showed…
  • Symphony - A relaxing game that takes your music from your computer and uses that to make the maps you play. It's kind of like space invaders. It is fun and I did end up playing for a good 2 hours and not realizing it. The only thing is, it did get boring after a while. But it's just a fun little game you play. Freejack -…
  • I've had my share of nerd rage but I would never punch someone and then stab them. I had a friend punch his wall over Yoshi Story but he would never hurt any of his friends or neighbors lmao.
  • Mario 64 Mario Kart Diddy Kong Racing Wave Racers Dr. Mario 64 Starfox Snowboard Kids (1 and 2) Donkey Kong 64 Glover Chameleon Twist Just to name a few. I played a lot of them with my sister thats why a lot of my favorite N64 games are racers lol!
