Set it to sedentary and log your exercise normally.

I think you should have just ignored him and not even bothered with a reply. Possibly he was just trying to bait you into a response, even if he never intended to answer. It's just the internet-- dumb comments or messages never deserve a reply and just waste your time.

The simplest and most effective way to stop your snacking is to discipline yourself. Neither healthier substitutes or elaborate plans to prevent snacking will help much if you can't resist the urges to keep eating. Again: DISCIPLINE, DISCIPLINE, DISCIPLINE!!

Diet soda or black coffee to handle the caffeine withdrawal symptoms. If you think you're tough enough, you can also try going cold turkey and just drink water.

Good job on your diary! Looks very detailed and healthy.

It claims that it's rated down to a depth of 100m, so if it fails just being splashed by some water then I would ask the company for a refund. I'm assuming the device came with some type of guarantee.

I eat red licorice all day to help quench the hunger pangs. I also like sour gummy crawlers if the red vines are not available. For breakfast on the run a Snickers or two suit me well. Most people think it's weird, but it keeps me satisfied. I also have a weakness for ice cream.

It's been scientifically proven that, if you eat carbs too often just before going to sleep, your muscles will shrivel up and your body fat percentage will rise. Your body also will not be able to absorb vitamins and proteins very efficiently. You will also go bald, quickly. There are also theories being thrown around that…

MFP lists cleaning as an exercise. You should be able to add it to your diary.

Buy separate diet Coke for yourself. That way when you crave soda you can have one without having to feel guilty. Or just conjure up more willpower.

Never tried them but check out the Ironman Series by Yurbuds. Apparently designed for marathoners and guaranteed not to fall out. http://www.headphones.com/Headphones/Yurbuds-Ironman-Series-Custom-Fit-Design-Sports-In-Ear-Earbud-Earphones-IRONMAN-68161.html

For those of you who've lost weight using intermittent fasting and MyFitnessPal, are you still maintaining a calorie deficit or have you set FitnessPal to 'maintain current weight'?
-
I use it as well. Very cheap and seems to do the job. I recommend the Cookies and Creme flavor. Delicious.

Most of our views on what an ideal weight is are heavily influenced by what we're exposed to in our culture and these views do not always conform to what is considered ideal from a medical perspective. In general, women tend to to underestimate what their ideal weight should be while men tend to overestimate. American…

I agree. I thought the OP of the other thread was being very polite in the way he was sharing information yet the responses he got were downright hostile and added little to the discussion. I believe that if you disagree with what works for someone else, either do not answer or contribute some useful information. It looks…

Having just looked at her pictures, 150lbs looks to be about right. She is 5'9" and, like you said, pretty darn muscular. Definitely not a skinny girl.

I don't have an answer but, as someone who is also doing Insanity, I'd really love to see some thoughts on the matter as well!

No.

Good job!!! Keep up the great work!

I don't see a problem with eating a cookie as long as you don't exceed your daily limit for net intake.
-
Welcome! Just be sure to accurately count your calories and stay under your daily goal and those pesky pounds should be gone in no time!
-
Pick better foods to eat. You can search through the MyFitnessPal database in advance to help you plan your meals throughout the day. The main goal is to maintain your calories. If you can't get the proper amount of protein/calcium with food alone, then try supplements.
-
Unless you're WAY under your daily goal for calorie intake, there is no need for you to replace the calories you burn while working out. MyFitnessPal should automatically adjust your daily goal so you shouldn't have to worry about it too much. By the way, what are you doing to burn 2200 calories?
-
Are you keeping track of your calories? You need to make sure you record EVERYTHING you eat and how much you burn during exercise. Once you do that, be sure not to exceed your daily limit for calories. If you stick with it you should start seeing results. It's all about discipline.

Whatever you do, don't give up! Strictly adhere to counting and whatever else you've decided to do and stick with it. You WILL see improvement if you're eating right and exercising! Just be patient!
