I'm fat because I love food and hated where I was at in my life in recent years, which is when I packed on about 100lbs. Culinary school is NOT recommended for emotional eaters who come to learn they HATE working in commercial kitchens. I used to out-eat the pregnant chick. =/ Not proud of those memories. Removed myself…

A Tree Grows In Brooklyn, because I've always meant to read it... although the more of it I read, the more I suspect I have already read it and just don't remember it very well. Need, by Carrie Jones is my current fluff-reading choice. Not very far into it, but so far it's every bit as easy reading as I was hoping it'd be.…

I know it seems like a lame superpower, but I'd want the ability to remember anything I read/saw/heard... to learn things super fast and be able to purge all the useless knowledge in some super-cool attack kind of way that increases the brain capacity of stupid people. That way the world can get smarter with me.

Probably the lightest I've ever been. Love this picture. I think it's from my freshmen or sophomore year, don't remember. Contemplating life prior to leaving on foreign exchange, senior year of high school. Technically, I had graduated by now... but this is one from my exchange. Was on a boat heading to see an oyster farm…

In addition to what the other Wisconsinites have said; - No, I have never been cow tipping. - Most of us did not grow up on farms, but farms are common in certain parts of the state so I know people who grew up on farms. - Yes, I do love cheese. And it's better than yours. - Bubblers are drinking/water fountains. Please…

My go to snack is carrot sticks. If you have/make hummus they make a great pair.

Failure, not being able to change for the better, something horrible happening to the people I love... I have some pretty standard fears, I think. Heights make me dizzy if there's no guard rail between me and the drop. I can sometimes get weirded out swimming in lakes or the ocean if the water is super deep and I can't…

I started just prior to Jan 1st. I began at 260. I'm not jumping between 242-237lbs. (Just under 20lbs lost, but I'm hoping to make that benchmark tomorrow on my weigh in day) I have gone an entire pants size. Mostly it's the little NSV things that have me excited. I have more energy, my mood is better, I can see my…

Two days ago. When was the last time you visited a farmer's market?

Last week I noticed that I can see my collar bone for the first time in years. Today I bought pants a size smaller than what I've been wearing for over a year and a half. I went hiking for hours this weekend and by the end of the day I was ready for another walk instead of being exhausted.

I generally go to the gym right after work. I like to look nice for work... but sometimes straightening my hair does feel futile. I skip it on my days off.
-
... your carefully straightened hair is curly again by the time you leave the gym.

I sometimes get comments if I have to run to the store and only pick up the missing ingredients for a week's meals. But if I saw someone buying a lime, caramel, and GF pasta, I'd be a little suspicious of what they were planning as well. I don't think I've ever had someone outright judge me based on what I'm buying, but I…

http://www.cleaneatingmag.com/ I subscribe to clean eating and cooking light magazines but both have recipes available online as well.

Older men always tell me I have a great smile. I hate my smile. Older ladies tell me I have a great skin tone. I agree with them. No one my age compliments me.

Shy comic book guy who comes in to buy Buffy the Vampire Slayer comics every Friday afternoon at the bookshop where I work. I think he's super sexy. And I love me some Buffy, too.

In the first wedding I was a part of, the mother of the bride is a seamstress and made all our dresses from scratch. It didn't cost me a thing, but I made up for it by taking on a lot of the decorating responsibilities and what not to make it easier on the family. I also stepped in for a lot of maid of honor duties because…

I've swam in the Pacific and Atlantic oceans. I've seen the Pacific ocean from the American west coast and Taiwan's east coast. Edit: For the record I live in Wisconsin. It's at least a two day drive in any direction to hit an ocean.

Main ring tone is Je suis un homme by Zazie. It's a beautiful song in French and the opening drum beats always catches my attention. (You tube link if anyone wants to listen to it; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wa1CAeVqZiE )

I lost 30lbs before I joined a gym. I had to reach a point where I was comfortable enough with my appearance and fitness level that I would feel comfortable in a gym setting. I still suffer from slight bouts of "fat girl at the gym" paranoia, but much less so than if I had started my weight loss journey at the gym.

@JenFerguson1- It's my cocky little half-smirk, isn't it? xD I think you look like Barbara Eden, during her 'I dream of Jeannie' years.

@Kritter8682- Kirsten Dunst

You're probably not really a flower. Edit: Your diet plan must have left you hungry since you're trying to lick your friend's face. (Assuming you are the man in the picture, of course)

You avoid eye contact with photographers.

I bounced around between a few group. Drama geeks, band nerds, gamers, goths, artsy kids, etc.
