Yes! This, I need to think in the long term! I think short term goals are great, but I try to keep this in mind. I don't want to be a sickly weak old person, I want to rock a jogging suit and 1 lb weights!!

Just eat when you are hungry, you should never have to force yourself to eat. If you haven't done much physical activity then your body may be using less calories than you normally need.

I am in the same exact position! I have gone an entire year with no weight lost at all, I am so discouraged! Of course, I know the right thing to do, eat well and exercise, but I am letting me excuses get in the way of my successes. I am not waiting until January 1st to try and get back on track though, I am starting today…

Wait, I forgot, another achievement was wearing what I wanted and finally fitting into size 14 pants. I cannot even remember when I last fit into anything smaller than a 16!

I am proud that I was not embarrassed to participate in family events. My older siblings are all very fit and attractive, but this year I did not feel inferior, I just had fun!

Water!!! Seriously though, my diet varies so much, and I get bored of things very quickly. Right now I am going through a peanut butter toast phase. Two tablespoons of creamy Skippy brand pb + Two slices of multigrain bread + Sprinkle of cinnamon in the middle (I know it sounds weird but you have to try it!) = Yummy!

I have the same problem! As a college student all people my age want to do is go out, I don't want to feel left out so I end up eating out three or four times a week. I don't know what to do, I don't want to lose my social life. So I feel you, it is really hard to say no.
