  • I'm a little confused too. I can find a LOT to bring my calories up. Maybe a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup? Just kidding about that of course but you can add a lot of stuff thats healthy and good. I have the problem of staying below 1200.
  • I'm in! I am going to try to do the C25K at the same time. I'm unemployed right now so time isn't an issue.
  • Thanks for starting the group! I was going to start today but since it seems there are several starting on Monday I may just wait. Wow... That makes it sound like I'm already putting it off. I have never been a runner and I'm really not sure why I decided this would be a good exercise for me. However, there is a 5K coming…
  • I'm a little behind everyone else. Just going to start today. I'm just wondering how its going for everyone.... I see there were lots of people posting in the beginning but not so many recently. Let me know your updates!
  • Hi Ashleigh- I've been a member for awhile but just starting back after about a year. I'm going to start the C25K today. How is it going for you? Pam
  • Welcome! You'll love it here.
  • Hold her down and force feed her Alfredo sauce! Really though you are losing the weight the healthy smart way.
  • I found myself doing that the other day. Hard to believe I used to do it all the time. I'm so glad I have become more aware!
  • I do not want to sound rude but you are eating horribly! On Saturday you had a 1500+ calorie MEAL. You should eat more real food and stay away from the junk food. Your diary does not sound like a diet at all more like a free for all. Once again, I am NOT trying to be rude. Good luck to you!
  • I don't think I could eat greasy food right now. I just know my stomach would protest! Great job though on doing Shred AND pool work!
  • I would go with the heart rate monitor. MFP can say I burned x amount of calories but really it depends on how much effort I put into the individual exercise. I can do the same exercise 2 different times and put less effort into one. What monitor do you have? I'm thinking of getting one and would like advice on it.
  • Can't you eat before you go? If not, then I would take a dish for the group that you know you can eat.

  • You're fabulous! Keep up the good work!
  • I would suggest buying a used one out of the paper or craigslist and seeing how you like it.
  • I sent you a friend request with a note attached...
  • Well I started on 7/14, a day late. I took a few days off in the second week because my knees were really bothering me. Then I have really hit it hard since July 25th. The funny part is I've stayed on level 1 this whole time. Yesterday was one of the first times when I felt like I was really doing well on it. I should…
  • Thanks everyone for the encouragement!
  • I'd say you are moving in the right direction. You realize there could be an issue and you know to keep an eye on it. I think because of those 2 things alone you will never have a "problem". For a small frame 5' 22" woman the recommended weight is 108-121. So for anyone that tells you you are not fat tell them no I'm not…

  • I just thought if it was good enough for Bill Cosby..... Why not?
  • That just started for me the first time tonight. If you find a solution please let me know!
  • I don't do mornings. I couldn't make myself get up and exercise. I'm with you... I would rather have the extra sleep then try and upset my balance like that. Exercise when you feel good. You'll get more out of it. No need to getting used to something you just don't like. You're doing great!
  • I have a pair od jeans dorm 55 lbs ago that I am saving!
  • I was at the grocery store the other day and it was on sale buy one get one. I looked at the label and then walked away. When I went home I put the can I already had in the pantry into my give away bag. As much as I love the stuff it does not fit into my diet at all. I like beef ravioli though and that may be worse then…
  • I quit smoking 10 weeks ago and used the online support at quitnet.com. It really helped. I've been doing Shred and it seems to really help. Rough on my knees though. Good luck!
  • I was going to answer this but as I thought about it I realized that I would just be tempting myself too much to go into all those wonderful things I would do. I can tell you one thing I would do... Smoke! I quit smoking 73 days ago and if I knew it was my last day I would be like a chimney.
  • Hi Seana, Great job on starting your new life. When is the surgery scheduled for? Good luck with everything. Pam
  • LOL. Its kind of looking that way at the moment. :glasses:
  • In my personal experiences I tend to weigh in too much. I would like to do it only once a week because the fluctuations can be a mind game. Today I got on the scale and weighed a pound more then yesterday. Now I know that is not possible but yet I did. It was a bit discouraging. I think if we only did it once a week it…
