  • I only cook one meal for Lunch and for dinner. The only time i vary from that is when i want a vegetable that my husband hates. Then i will also cook him one he likes. Even when my stepson is here. He eats what I make.
  • I go through the same thing on an occasion. It especially happens if i have been consistently eating the same thing every day. (example eggs for breakfast) So it could be your body telling you to switch it up and give it something different. My body wont handle donuts or fast food at all anymore even if i really really…
  • I LOVE steel cut oats. I use the McCann's irish steel cut oats that I get at Costco. I usually just make them in the microwave with almond milk, honey and slivered almonds. I am thinking about making a big batch in the crockpot though.
  • For me personally I follow what my PT has told me to do when it comes to my eating habits. I have also been losing weight from it too. He has me eating most of my carbs in the morning and at lunch. Afternoon I eat more veggies to help balance things. I try really hard not to have things like rice, oatmeal, bread etc during…

  • I don't always trust my digital scale at home. But, I use it to get a general idea of where I am. I do my actual weigh day(about once a month) at the gym's scale.
  • I put a little bit of water in the blender. I don't measure but I would guess maybe 1/8 or 1/4 cup. Then I slice up a whole banana into the blender. Add one scoop of Body Fortress Super advance chocolate whey protein powder. I blend all this together then add ice to create a thick shake like consistency and then blend that…
  • I can ride some of the coasters that are at my local amusement parks and I am 292. What prevents me from riding some of the coasters is I am big breasted and have trouble with over the shoulder harnesses.
  • I agree that shopping healthier doesn't have to be more expensive. We buy frozen vegetables in the large bags instead of the small bags because the large bags last us longer. (just my husband and I ) We also try to buy meats in the family packs. Once again it lasts several meals. I have gotten away from most process foods…
  • I was on Zoloft (for PTSD) and while I don't remember weight gain. I do remember getting severe depression to the point of wanting to cut myself again that I hadn't had in forever. But, it could of been the combo for taking me off Trazadone and putting me on Zoloft. Needless to say I took myself off the Zoloft and put…
  • I know I have oatmeal every day with honey and cinnamon and sliced almonds. It is easy and nutritious. Also, I usually have hard boiled eggs as well. I cook up a dozen one day and they last awhile in the fridge. (I also have a mini fridge so I know it isn't but it can work)
  • I am a diet pepsi person when I absolutely am craving a soda. But, for the most part I don't drink soda anymore and stick to water. T
  • I personally have a protein shake for my mid morning snack to help me get enough protein in the day. And, i also have one after I work out. If I dont workout I dont have that second one. But, that is just me.
  • I am 5'10 and currently 292. I started at 303. My goal weight is 185-190. I have family and friends saying i look good or i get the comment that if i would just a little bo it in the boobs I wouldnt need to lose weight. Can the not see that I have a huge stomach and thunder thighs? Jeeze it is rediculous. Anywho, anyone…
  • I know it isnt easy. My husband until recently was very much an enabler for me. He would go to the gym with me and even work out with me. But, he would have no problem stopping for fast food for dinner or asking me if i wanted a soda or something for lunch. I know a lot of people will say i should of had more will power.…
  • Right now my first milestone is to get out of the 290's. I am so close to it and am so excited. (only two pounds to go) My personal trainer set up my second milestone to reach 275 and as a reward he said he will half his rate per hour so I can affored to see him every week instead of every two weeks. After that I have no…
  • I think it depends on the meds they have you on. I know that i found out a couple meds i was on one of the side effects was weight gain. My doctor took me off both. You might want to research the meds you are on and see what the side effects are. Also, talk to your doctor as well. He/she should be able to help.
  • If i need a snack i mix low fat cottage cheese and either sugar free jello powder or a little bit of the powder packets that you would mix with water usually. Very good and very filling.
