I lost 20lbs on MFP last year. But since, have gained back 30. I want to lose, but have such little motivation. Count me in - as maybe this is the push I need !!!
-
completed in 3 sets of 50 - don't feel a thing....should i? except kind of a sore back. maybe i am doing them wrong?
-
i'll give it a try!! Got nothing to lose, or reason not to try it.

I'd be happy with EITHER time - good for you !!! I ran a 5km race a few years ago before a sprained ankle injury, and although I had my best time ever (37mins), I was just so proud of myself for FINISHING the race!!!
-
recommendations that came to me at the beginning - a straw and Crystal light singles. Both help, but I am still not at the water drinkng level I'd like to be at. Good luck !

HAHA! my menu was almost identical for dinner !! Never even thought to dream up a breakfast or lunch ! BREAKFAST - crepes stuffed with blueberries and whpped cream, bacon, toast LUNCH - Baconator from Wendys, fries from McDonalds, and gravy from Harveys with a Cinnabon for dessert!
-
look how fast this BLOG has filled up!!! it's amazing how we love to dream. seems a shame for those that don't love to dream with us!
-
AAAAGGGHHHH!!!! you guys are KILLING me!!! As it is, I only have 31 calories left for the day, and haven't even eaten dinner yet!!! not to mention it's Friday, and boy.....would I ever love a drink - beer, martini, cooler, whatever !! So, for dinner, I request steak (with grilled garlic mushrooms) and lobster (with melted…

me too - one even lives in my house, but heaven forbid she move from a size 0/1 to a 2/3 !!! give me a break !! then on the opposite end, her sister is big, and refuses to think she should lose weight - wat 'til she has kids !!

your kids are still very young ! don't be hard on yourself. My youngest is 10, and I still carry the baby fat. Or maybe it's just my age (over 40 now)? As long as you feel good/healthy and eat well, don't worry about it so much. The kids are not an excuse, they are your reward !

I agree !!!
-
wow - you look amazing !!!! I am so jealous, and hope one day to look as HOT as you do !!! Although I am a bit older (43), and the boy just does different things at ths age, LOL.
-
wow - what an amazing story!!! good for you for getting this far !! you must feel like a totally different person. you definitely should be proud of yourself. so many people (including me) give up when something seems difficult, or requires a lot of dedication. but it sounds like you've worked through that part - good for…

hey it happens!! there are so many things in life that affect reasons for "falling off the wagon". For example, today I am having a Baileys, been a very stressful day. Just knowing it was wrong, and that you want to get back on track is a step in the right direction !!! Good luck, and keep trying !
-
great job!! looking good!! makes me wish i had taken "before" pictures! but still motivates me to keep on trying to lose. thanks
-
You look FANTASTIC !!! Great job !! Keep it up if you are looking to lose more, but I t hink you look great (healthy) the way you are now ! Sure does motivate me!

MFP worked, just slower. I am glad I changed it up for the week, gives me variety and motivation. I have learned through both experiences to moderate how much I eat (used to snack on bad calories constantly), and learn about a helathier lifestyle along the way. Both work, and they are still slow, steady losses, just wanted…

In response to the negative commenters - the word is not TROLL - I think PRIVATE might better describe me. I'm not in to you knowing everything about me! It is a more specific meal plan (free, not a book, not a membership paid for), that you follow for one week. Not only did it make a difference weight wise, but…

just go and enjoy yourself, if you rarely see her. If this is a frequent invite, just take a rain check. Neither way should cause stress.

I am completely on the same page !! started at 170 with MFP at the beginning of Jan in hopes to lose 20 by mid-March for a vacation. While I appreciate what it's taught me - healthier eating, more moderate eating, exercise - I am bummed at only having lost 5 little pounds. Ya, ya, better than none, but NO WHERE NEAR what I…

:O oh no!! I am 5'7" and started MFP at 170. I have faithfully put in my food and exercise for 1 month now, but have depressingly only lost 4lbs. I was hoing to lose 20 by mid-March for a trip to go on. Instead, I am looking at this thread thinking even if I do get to my goal, I'll probably still look fat, because everyone…

i didn't read through every single comment, is the nutrional value somewhere? can only assume as yummy as this sounds, I'd only be allowed to eat one at a meal. :-(
-
i would really, REALLY love a cowboy steak, baked potato and some kind of veggie. I think a HuGE workout would be required to maintain my calorie goal though !!!
-
wow! you sure did do it!! makes me believe that my desired weight IS achievable! and i only want to lose 15lbs!
-
regarding sodium.......what is the ideal daily consumption? or where can i find this based on my height/weight/goals?
-
me either !!! i have read so many messages about it, people say to eat back your calories you earned with exercise, but doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose of exercising??? I am getting a bit discouraged with my lack of loss, that's for sure !
-
Wit a second.......how does one comsume 900 at one sitting, and still maintain their calorie goal for the day??? unless you ate NOTHING else for the entire day, or have a way high allowance!
-
ya, gotta quit it altogether, otherwise not much point in watching wht you eat. And remember, you ARE what you eat!
