I know :( I wish there was an accessible way for anyone to find that out (I only found out today because I saw a nutritionist at my school)

You did such an awesome job! You look great! Obviously, you can't "spot tone"....but what kind of ab work did you do? I'm really curious :)

Haha I was just talking about this the other day. Five guy's burgers are the ultimate hangover cure. Seeing as I'm vowing to avoid alcohol at all costs, that shouldn't be a problem for a long while

Oops...her title is "Registered Dietitian & Nutritionist"

Good points pixiechick! Thanks!

Good idea! After the appointment I'll definitely do an update in case it helps anyone :)

These are terrible :( I guess the reason I got made fun of before and not now is because I think I give off a vibe that lets others know that if you can dish it out, better make sure you can take it haha. I am an extremely nice person to friends and strangers alike, but I also believe that rude people should be made an…

Grocery shopping is so depressing for me. It's just me and my boyfriend, but I swear we spend about $400-ish a month. Thankfully we split that! We don't even eat a lot of processed foods (usually cereal, yogurt, granola bars). We just eat a lot of healthy food (1300 & 1800 calories respectively)....and it's so expensive.

Ooo those are pretty :) I just bought the brita one the other day...I feel so much better not throwing away water bottles :)

Great post, I couldn't agree more :) congratulations on all of your success!!!!!!!!!!

Yup, when I was a kid. Growing up my house wasn't all about the fried food or anything like that...but it seems like I didn't learn about eating healthy until 4ish years ago. When I was younger I had A LOT of body issues. Also, I hated to exercise and be in gym class because I used to get made fun hardcore because of how…

Awesome post! Thanks for sharing :) my plateau and I thank you again haha

I take Women's One a Day. I really like it for extra calcium & vitamin D...but it doesn't overload you on some things I get from my food ( example: vitamin A ). It's won a lot of awards for a women's multivitamin as well.

I saw the cupcakes the other day and practically drooled haha. May have to make them for the family soon...

I love love love the recipe for Baked Chicken with Dijon & Lime. It's delicious. I've tried it on boneless skinless thighs and chicken breasts.

Thanks 1_up!!! That does help a lot.

I love my polar f6 :) has always worked perfectly for me, the chest strap is nice too.

Rabbitslave, good ideas thank you!!

I looked at that site before and it confused the heck put of me lol. It puts my maintenance at 1887 and "extreme fat loss" at 1448. That seems really high to me. I figured that out as sedentary as well (I would figure that out later myself). Maybe I'm being overly concerned and I'm used to looking at a "big" deficit lol.

Bump because I'm experiencing the dreaded early plateau :(

My thoughts have always been to train the way that women are instructed to train...."less weight, more reps" That being said...I feel like that is advice for a time after most of my flab comes off haha. I feel and "see" more results when I train with heavier weights and do maybe 12 reps & 2-3 sets.

Thanks everyone! Really clears it up for me. Since I'm pretty active but not severely, I'll probably go with the calculation of .8 g per pound of body weight.

Sounds really good :) Thanks!!

I eat sandwiches often and so does my boyfriend, so we buy a lot of lunch meat. I always go low sodium and some great brands are: Dietz & Watson, healthy ones, applewood farms, and boar's head. Giant eagle also has a low sodium turkey breast lunch meat. I don't ever do pre-packaged lunch meat because there always seems to…

I've heard good things about this book. I'll have to check it out next time I go to the library :)

I have 2 right now, but I'll have 3 when I reach my goal weight :) that's my kind of reward!!!

1984 by George Orwell The Harry Potter Series...I grew up with these books and I was the same age as the characters. They've always made me happy to read :) Fahrenheit 451 These are the ones that popped into my mind, but I think every good book changes you somehow.

Hahahaha I will be joining you in this prayer. Thanks for the laugh :)

I take: Women's one a day (won a bunch of multi-vitamin awards) Glucosamine/Chondroitin (knees + joints) Fish Oil (all over...plus I really can't seem to get enough fish in my diet) Vitamin B-12 in a sublingual tablet (I have CFS so I need B-12...plus sublingual really makes it absorb rather than be flushed away)
