Sorry guys I've been so busy with the kids and hitting the gym I haven't had a lot of time to hang on the boards. Doing well - good in eating and losing but bad in getting my veggies in - I'll have to try harder.

Kids need consistent examples - no kid wants to be the "weird" kid with the chicken breast and apple in his lunch. Home with my sick 4 year old today and didn't get to workout :( Add to that it was a eat your own arm kind of day. Weird how one day 1200 calories is fine and the next 1400 is WAY too little. I keep it to 1200 when I don't workout and 1400 when I do and don't eat back my exercise calories. I hope this continues to work.…

If there's one thing I learned through my years and struggles is that you really do know yourself the best. Do I think you'll be just as happy - yes I do. Do I think you'll be successful - yes also. Please - I'm a lesbian with 4 kids who are ours - I don't wear flannel - I love make up, Disney and purses. I really really like purses. ohhh and shoes especially boots. uggs... oh I could go on and on.

Ok - for the first week - Stay under calories each day (and don't eat exercise calories) - Abs at least 5 times this week (ugh) - Drink my water (at least 8 cups a day)

For cardio I did 40 minutes for 5 days = 200 minutes. I'm not sure how much time weight training as I just started and I think there's more time looking at the weights then lifting them ;)

Hi Rose and welcome. Ok - got to the gym this morning at work and then drove home to work from home :laugh: . Partners car is in the shop so I have to be home to drive her and the kids around. But I didn't want to miss my gym time. 40 minutes cardio but I skipped weights just for today. Shooting to lose 5 in February.

Logged in on the spreadsheet this morning at 154.5. My goal for February is 149 and exercise 150 minutes for the week (30 minutes X 5 days). I'm working towards my March 17-24 vacation to Florida being at 145. Whatseatingyo - down 10 - that's great!! Lottee1000 - Great job on hitting your Jan goal.

Tell me about it - I'd love to make it through a night without having to get up! And yes - you need 8 glasses :) Helps with the hunger as well as keeping your body running well.
