• I normally do it as he works away, if he comes with me when hes home we get to the checkout and all these treats appear :| temptation is sometimes hard to resist. I am going to make a much better effort to avoid this and to make better choices, thankyou

• Maybe you could try going for a walk or the gym so you have dinner later then you might not want to binge later at night. Or get up early for a run then you are tired at night and have an early night, you cant eat if you are sleeping :D . Its so difficult i to can snack in between meals i get frustrated at my lack of self…
• Your weight is totally within normal, i feel the same as you, i over eat alot, its so frustrating. I exercise around the same as you slightly more, i get up at 5am to run then go to the gym for weights in the evening to stop me from eating too early or just generally eating :), i do this 5 days a week. if i eat early i…

• Aww im so glad there are others the same as me! Its such a struggle and i could easily binge eat on those days i track to a certain point then dont - more through embarrassment of what i have eaten, dont get me wrong its not thousands of calories but it can go around 500-800 over what i should be eating. Pure greed and no…

• Thanks everyone...im on a learning curve with my calories and eating habits that will come in time and hopefully allow me to make the right choices. • Thanks folks my husband just can eat when he wants - thing is he rarely buys it, its me that buys it when hes home so i need to stop that i only have myself to blame :# I run most mornings at 5.30am then do a class in the evening - as they say you can never out run a bad diet. I have found it much more difficult to get…
•
Its most definitely wanting to join him while he eats a whole tub of ben and jerrys or cheese and crackers - this is after dinner. I dont eat till around 7pm sometimes later so im not hungry in anyway…
• I eat at about a 10% deficit to my TDEE. For you that 1781 calories a day at the lowest TDEE number. Something to think about. I know quite a few CF folks calculate their calorie intake this way then tweak it until they get the results they want.
Thankyou so much i did find these calculations on here so i did it…
• Thanks for your reply. I just did my BMR/TDEE and its coming in at 2094 cals per day minus 20% which is 1675 cals per day. My worry is that do you not have to burn 3500 cals a week in order to lose just 1lb. I definately dont burn that in a week :(. I might be confusing myself and myfitnesspal is calculating that i will…
• Yeah I hurt myself twice on them and it's knocked my confidence but like you all say I need to keep trying. I'm definately going to force myself to jump and not step up, I am just getting too comfortable with stepping up that I gave up trying to jump, plus I'm a lot faster at stepping up probably because I've done it for…

• Thanks everyone, well tonight we were outside and I got someone to hold the 20' box down & I managed! Weirdly though I had to step on the box & do my first jump from the box up not from the ground up and I had a few jittery moments but all in all I did it, still nervous but goofing to work on that. Great advice thanks x

• So pleased to say i got the double unders yaaay! Practice practice practice, ok so i cant do anymore than 15 at a time but im getting there. I watched you tube videos, bought a crossfit rope, which was way too thin to be starting with it was sooo painful when i whipped my legs or bum, so used a slightly thicker one which i…
• I have so many goals i want to achieve in crossfit. I really need better upper body strength pull ups - im doing assisted pull ups but still tap my toe on the box and i need to get that box away from my feet if i try i only manage 2 at a big push! • Me to! I haven’t lost a single pound started crossfit 4 months ago when I stopped smoking I go 3 x week, run 2 x week and bootcamp 2x week. But on the plus side I haven’t put on weight and I have lost some inches. It gets depressing not seeing the scales move but I love crossfit so much I dont want to give it up. I to only…
• I go 3 x week but only started 6 weeks ago. I continue to run between 10-15miles a week mainly in the morning, 1 hour of bootcamp weekly and as the weather has been great here just now I bike around 30miles a week I normally have 1 day rest a week – just need to sort out my eating habits now!
• Thanks for the replies – I watched a couple of you tube videos on how to and once I stop trying to jump so high and panicking I MIGHT actually manage even one. I can get the rope round twice but like littlelawson8 it stops at my feet. I will check for a good rope im 5ft 2 and using ropes that come up to my head they aren’t…
• You look absolutely brilliant well done!
• I posted here so i could get replies from others who i knew would have been in my situation. My crossfit trainer has been training in all aspects of sports for 24 years - he entered his first bodybuilding comp when he was 16 so i value his advice and experience. He in no way shouts at anyone or tries to push them further…
