I’m not sure which IUD you have. The Mirena, which I have, works by partially suppressing ovulation, but it can still happen, and does for me. It also works by thinning the lining of the uterus so implantation cannot occur. I would definitely like it better if there was no ovulation because then I wouldn’t have to deal…

This sounds so much like me!! Glad I’m not the only one!!

If you think you aren’t quite ready for it you can always repeat week three or adjust your own intervals and do a kind of in-between week. Loved that program! Best of luck with it!

I don’t eat any back. I used a macro calculator (from legion athletics but there are several good online ones) to calculate my calories/macros based on my weight and activity level and just use the goals it gave me. You can adjust those in MFP as your own custom goals even without being a paid member. That way I don’t have…

Have you already had these done? My doctor wouldn’t do an ablation without tying my tubes (she specifically would not do it with just an IUD.) I didn’t want that done so I just have an IUD (which solved my heavy period problem.) This is my second IUD. The first one I was not overweight with at all but when I had it removed…

Greek yogurt with granola and almond milk. I’ll add fresh nectarine or peach if I have some ripe ones handy.

I like: 34g chocolate brownie protein powder (I use clean simple eats at 110 calories) 6g rodelle cocoa powder (a rich baking cocoa) 8g PBFit peanut butter powder Blend with either 1 c almond milk or water. Super delicious, the cocoa powder adds only 30 calories and tons of chocolate flavor.

We use it as a dip for BBQ potato chips

Way to go! So awesome!

I like the taste and ingredient list for Clean Simple Eats powders, available on their website. Their Chocolate Brownie mixed with a tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder solves my cravings for sweets, and the two combined mixed with water are only 130 calories w/ 20g protein.

I have found that there are a few things that work for me. One is keeping “trigger foods” out of my house. There are a couple of foods that if I eat one I have to eat 5, 6 or more. Cookies and cake are prime examples. I don’t keep them in my house or buy them at the store which helps to not even get cravings for them. The…

My husband’s homemade brown butter chocolate chip cookies. They are so good and I couldn’t eat just one or two. So even though I’m doing IIFYM and could fit one in, I don’t even indulge.

I set a goal to wear the same pants size I wore in between babies #4 and 5. I put in 130 as my goal weight for MFP because that is how much I weighed at the time, but I wouldn’t mind being a bit heavier if it’s due to muscle. The pants size is more my goal than the weight number.

Usually just over 200

Check out fitnessblender.com. they have hundreds of workouts videos, all different types of workouts including HIIT. Videos are all free and then they have workout programs they have put together which keep you on track that you can pay extra for.

Wow, great job! Very motivating. Thanks for posting!

Light and fit Greek yogurt is 80 calories. Kind granola is one of the less calorie dense ones, plus 13 grams protein. The chocolate one is 110 calories per serving? I usually have those two with a third cup of almond milk mixed in. (I just like the more liquid texture for some reason)

You burn a higher percentage of fat at rest (and we are at rest more than exercising) because it's the primary fuel when the body isn't doing anything physically demanding. So does this mean yoga is better for burning fat than HIIT?

I just got the 4 non-cellular last week and I love it for fitness. It’s fairly intuitive and it’s nice to be able to track my workouts and total movement calories burned over the day. My only other experience with a fitness watch was the Garmin vivoactive which I liked, but this one has so much more that it does. My main…

Well, besides low sodium soy sauce, I like my veggies with a bit of franks original red hot sauce. Totally different flavor profile, but so good! You could also try rice vinegar.

This is one of our favorites. Even my kids like it! https://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/tuscan-chickpea-soup

Sochatti chocolate is amazing. They make batches from different beans around the world, and each country has a different taste profile. It’s really unique. My favorite is Ecuador. It’s sold in pouches that you heat up and then squeeze the chocolate out. It’s good for a shot of chocolate every once in a while. Anymore than…

I would suggest finding a recipe for each of those dishes online and entering them into MFP. But since they’re from a restaurant and you’re not cooking them yourself, I would probably add a couple hundred calories to whatever number the recipe spits out for calories.

What I mean is, I don’t want my body to lose too much muscle mass while I’m in a caloric deficit, so I didn’t know if just hitting protein macros is the goal for that or if all the macros work together. Thanks everyone for your help. I used to be coming up short on carbs but watermelon or other fruit has taken care of…

I find that if I eat less calories in the morning/lunch, then I can eat a larger amount of calories at dinner time and it helps me to feel more satisfied. My brain knows that I’ll get plenty at dinner, so it helps make eating less earlier easier.

I had a terrible sweet tooth as well but honestly watching the movie Fed Up really impacted my feelings on sugar. I have almost zero desire to eat it now.

I’m curious as to what a “non-offensive flavor” means. Does it not really taste like anything once you get all the condiments with it?

I eat a Dannon Lite and Fit Toasted Coconut yogurt with 30g of Kind dark chocolate whole grain clusters (granola) and 1/3 cup of unsweetened almond breeze milk. Very filling and not very many calories.
