Fantastic! Great example of how it's not all about the scale. You look great!

There's nothing wrong with cardio. Exercise choices are personal, and if this is what works for you, go for it. Some people find it boring. Some people prefer weight training, exclusively.
-
It looks like you don't need luck at all. You've got this! Congratulations, and keep up the hard work!!
-
Congrats on on the loss. How long have you been in maintenance?

LOTS of people walk. Even more run-walk. I agree with the theme here - do it. Start training now. I would even consider doing the couch-to-5K or couch-to-10K training programs. Whatever program you choose, you're going to gain stamina and be better prepared for a half. Look at it this way, November is coming whether you…

Google body weight strength training. There are lots of sites dedicated to using your bodyweight only to gain strength.

Fantastic!!

Keep up the hard work! There is definitely a noticeable difference. You got this!!

It's not bad at all. And it's much better than giving up. I'm focusing on changing one thing at a time, not revamping my entire life in one fell swoop. I want to develop habits. I want my exercise and my food choices to be second nature, not something I have to consciously decide. I log everything I put in my body. There's…

26 so far. Shaping up to be a much better month.

You look amazing! Congratulations on all that hard work. Keep at it. Can I also just say, you look so much younger from the first picture to the second. You are a BEAUTIFUL girl!!! You deserve the results you are getting.

50 miles this month. No excuses.
-
Two miles. Total of 35.8 for the month. I'm going to crush that in July.
-
5.1 miles this weekend. Total of 33.8.

I've been terrible at this so far, but here goes. To date, I've done 28.7 miles this month. I am going to be far short of my goal. If you don't at least try, you'll never know...

Thank you for posting this. This makes SO MUCH MORE sense than "desk job, etc..."
-
My first time doing this, so I'll be realistic but still push myself. 50 miles.

One of the most profound statements I've seen on MFP in a long time.

Aside from its deliciousness? I have read two places - neither of them backed by any science - that it can help maintain the good bacteria in your gut by cutting down on the yeast that forms. Personally, I don't need an excuse to eat it.

Oh my gawd! You are amazing. Every minute in the gym is worth it. Keep taking care of yourself. You are so worth it!
-
You. Are. Awesome.

I wash my face once a day - at night. I wash with Cetaphil. I use Neutrogena alcohol free toner. I don't use anything on my face overnight. In the morning, I rinse with lukewarm water in the shower. I use Cerave night lotion on my face during the day. It does not have sunscreen (Avobenzone, etc.) in it, so is not…

Those are both intense workouts for a beginner. That doesn't mean you shouldn't do them. It does mean you may need to modify them. Instead of jumping, try jogging or marching in place. And, seriously, when you need to stop, stop. If you're just out of shape, you will make gains in endurance, and I would encourage you to…

^^ This! I cannot find a sports bra that fits. Around the band, yes, but where is the rest supposed to go?! I've been to several sports specialty shops and they can't fit me. And, honestly, I'm only a 38DD. I have to wear two regular bras when I run.

Hardly a drop in the bucket. That's fantastic! Keep going!!

I started with Insanity, too, more than a year ago. It was tough. Don't be afraid to modify and make sure you listen to your body. After Insanity, I did T25 and I agree with DedRepublic - good results, not nearly as difficult, takes less time on a daily basis and it really does tighten your core.

"But I won't take that. You can not tell me that there is not a way to be in shape, and be healthy and lose weight without putting such a heavy focus on food and exercise." Then what would the focus be? Weight is simply calories in / calories out. Excess calories in means you gain weight. Excess calories out means you lose…

Don't rely only on the scale to determine success. Take photos and measurements monthly. Note how your clothes fit. Be kind to yourself. Make changes that are sustainable so that you are able to continue them even after you've reached your goal.

This ^^. If you're not doing this, no amount of back cracking, toxin cleansing or supplements is going to fix you.

I have a coworker who actually brings the piece of cake, the doughnut, the cookie to my office and puts it on my desk. It doesn't matter how many times I've said no thank you. Now, I just throw it in the trash. It may sound childish, but I'm done "being polite." If others can't respect my boundaries, I don't need to spare…
