I had it last year, went to therapy for 3 months which helped alot. One thing that I am still using is a slant board, nothing fancy, around a 15 degree slope. I have it near a wall so can use the wall for support, try to stand on it every day for around 30 seconds.

Michigan here. I am sticking to 10K steps/day plan. Have been working for the whole of the Covid season and have lost a couple of pounds. When you are doing calorie deficit are you changing what you eat or are you sticking with your regular diet? If so, maybe try eating less of your normal diet and see if that helps with the headaches.

I would ease back into it. It's like any activity you haven't done for awhile, you will not be in top form but you can get back up to your prior level with a few weeks or months of regular workouts.
