I made the same mistake my first week! Paid the price, couldn't walk or sit lol!

When I first started I read the deadlifts wrong and did 5x5! BIG mistake! I could hardly walk or sit for 2 days lol! Best of luck with it!

I use Aussie Bodies low cal protein powder, it's $24 in woolworths etc and I get it for $21 from chemist Warehouse. They have sales on quite often and I got it for $15 a tub the other week!

Lol! Same here! Never thought I'd feel that way about running!
-
Congratulations! Great work! Best of luck with your 5k on Wednesday!

You're doing great! It's amazing how you do improve and the 5 minutes will soon seem like a warm up when you start with 8 minutes jooging and so on - that's why this programme is so good! I did 25 minutes running non stop today (W7 D1) and I still cannot believe I'm running for that length of time! I remember other threads…

Great work! I was so scared to do the 20 minute jog, I thought I would never be able to do it! And to my suprise, I did it quite comfortably!
-
You're doing great! And the moral of the stroy - don't give up, just give it a go!
-
You're doing great! I'm on W4 D2 today - have a cold and don't feel great, but will give it a try!

Great going!

If you change your goals to 'maintain current weight' that will up your cals - I went from 1290 to 1510 to maintain. I've been thinking about the 'eat more to weigh less' and will up my cals further.

Yeah, that's what I thought! That's what I'm doing anyway!

Lungs! I find I mouth breathe a lot and my throat gets really dry. I was out bike riding yesterday and had some chewing gum and this forced me to breath through my nose and stopped my throat feeling dry! So I might try that when i'm running! Sorry, just had to share lol! I am about to start W3D1 - so far it is going good,…

Great advice!

Same here - Mum to 2 boys aged 15 and 12. Time to put me first for a change! I've found the older I get (I'm 45) the more selfish I'm becoming and the older the boys get, they don't need me quite as much and now it's time for ME! I feel fitter and happier than I've done in a long time. I'm working out, have started C25K…

Give yourself a pat on the back for standing up for yourself and keeping strong. It's so easy to cave in and say 'tomorrow is another day'!

Congratulations, great going! If you're not sure you are ready to move up to the next level, I would repeat wk2 and see how you feel. Remember, it's not a race (yet!) and it does not matter how long it takes you to get to the end (remember the rabbit and the hare?) I've just done wk2 D2 and feel ok, but at any point I…

I'm on wk2 D1 of the C25K and like many of you, had never done any running, ever! It's not easy but I really look forward to my 'running' days and can't wait to be able to run for 30 minutes non stop! Please feel free to add me for support!
