  • My new doctor advised that very little is known about the benefits of LDN in reference to auto immune diseases but it does work. He has about 30 years of experience & he bulk bills...Yay..doesn't cost anything for a visist. At the moment I have T3 Toxicousis so he is trying to correct the situation, am feeling pretty…
  • Well stated Fuzzipeg. One of the best pieces of advice I can give is. DON"T GIVE UP...no matter what, keep searching for answers & always researching. I know it's hard to accept that diet & excerise wont affect your weight, I feel like screaming at times at the trainers who say just change your diet & excerise, that will…

  • Don't worry to much I'm sure you wont really offend.. Just having returned from the USA I know what you mean every time I travel there I'm gobsmacked by how big their meals are & the types of junk food so readily available. I definitely take my hat of to any USA person on here who loses weight, it's certainly an…

  • Thanks for the reply. I'm still no closer to getting the Peptides. Really hoping this will eventually happen, from what I read about peptides, it has made me really curious. They are performance enhancing so will they help stop the feeling of tiredness & exhaustion? Interesting I'm willing to try it just have to be patient…
  • Yep We have a DOGGY DAY OUT for his birthday, The day is totally devoted to my fur child. He gets dressed up, the bow tie comes out. We go to all the places he loves (he loves visiting all the local pet shops & strutting his stuff, getting lots of pats & attention, then usually the beach & I buy him toys & his fav treats…

  • My fur child is a Japanese Spitz 3 years old, far to intelligent for his own good, he is such a loyal boy.

  • Hair - I had the hair problem before being diagnosed I lost significant amounts of hair, it has grown back but lost a lot of pigment color. AFTER I still lose more than normal hair even on meds but it's nothing that really causes concern. Nails - BEFORE diagnosing I had nails & toenails like paper, extremely thin &…
  • None..I gained weight even with constant exercise & honest logging. I have bloods done every 2 months, but at least I feel really good, not tired & can manage many things others can't. Recently went on holidays where I walked 20kms per day, cycled 30kms per day. Cycled Washington Bridge, Brooklyn Bridge, New York, Central…

  • If you love it & it's enjoyable, you feel comfortable & healthy, your body's not complaining, just keep going.
  • I know exactly how you feel. I have been logging everything but nothing is happening with my weight loss. I even became disheartened at one stage & stopped logging everything, but I realised that was a really bad step backwards & I put on more weight. My doctor says I can't do anything more & to be thankful that I haven't…
  • Yep i agree you have to find what works for you, I have found it is a very individual thing, I'm not gluten free & I still eat dairy, but I stay away from all soy products & many foods that are not recommended for Hashi's. For me Armour works much better that other meds. I found the article at www.baumancollege.org…
  • I tried it. It didn't work for me.. After speaking to my Dr I realise we just have to accept that weight loss for us is very nearly impossible & any little loss is a milestone. The main thing is not to put on any more. I stopped watching my calories for about 12 months, decided to take another Drs advice, became seriously…
  • It is but be warned there are no short cuts & your goal should be more realistic. It took me over 6 months to lose 20lb.. Its slow path, the secret is a healthy diet & heaps of determination
  • I am having trouble eating enough calories, at times struggling to eat 1200 calories... I started watching my calories and at first found it really hard but since I started eating healthy I am not hungry. I don't get cravings & I feel quite full and healthy. I am getting constant messages that I am not taking in enough…
