You go girl!!

:( You are not fat and you are not disgusting. All you did was eat the wrong stuff and now you're learning how to live a healthier life. I believe in you.

Congrats on your loss!! 17 lbs is great! Especially when you have to work hard for every single one of those pounds :) Not saying she didn't, but for your journey you are doing wonderful.

That's great!!
-
That's fantastic! Congrats and great job!

That's almost exactly what's happening to me right now, but I stopped taking the pill last fall and haven't gotten regular yet. I was wondering if the new diet/excercise routine is making me a little off. I figured I'd give it a few more weeks and see what happens. Did you start changing your eating/work out habits after…

Ah ha! I KNEW that was why he didn't like me!!

I was talking to my sister today about this. Some boys at the mall were people watching and calling people ugly. From where they were standing and where we were it sounded like they were talking about us, but I could be mistaken. Nevertheless...I was telling her that I hope I could always figure out who in my life is cruel…

You are beautiful!

My clothes are starting to fit again. I usually tucked the top of jeans into themselves because I couldn't button them :blushing:

Thanks for sharing! I've recently upped my cals in the past few days and have been really pleased with my losses. I've been shocked when I step on the scale and it's gone down because eating more than 1200 cals feels weird to me. Congrats again on your loss!
-
Wow! That's great! Congrats! If you don't mind me asking, are you sticking to the 1200 cals MFP recommends a lot of people or are you eating a diff amount?
-
I think that would just be water weight (or new muscles?). Unless you eat 3500 extra calories that aren't burned off, you shouldn't be gaining any fat. Have you tried measuring yourself?
-
How many cals are you eating? I was eating around 1150 but when I eat around 1350 I seem to see more of a loss.
-
What if you looked different because of something that was completely out of your control? Not weight wise but something else. Do you think you can count on him to be there for you through anything life throws at you?
-
It seems like MFP uses a calculation to come up with the "If every day..." numbers. One thing (of many I'm sure) it doesn't seem to take into account is metabolism. I wish it was as simple as cals in less cals out, but I'm finding that's not really the case. I'm still trying to figure out my own body and understand how my…

That happens to me! I'm not sure why. If the scale ever tells me something lower than it has before, I use that number for my weight tracking. I earned those 2 lbs whether it happened at the gym or sleeping :)

Everywhere! I am putting away $3 per pound I lose and getting my husband to do the same. I can't wait for my shopping spree!!!
-
Zarebeth, Do you really notice a difference in your weight loss when you drink green tea? I feel like there are so many things I've been doing different I can't really tell which things are directly helping with weight loss. Oh yeah...10lbs a month is what I'm shooting for (coming up a little short though). Congrats on…
-
OMG!!! I just finished working out and it hurts to laugh!!
-
LOL!!!! I wish MFP had a "Like" button!!
-
I'm so sorry that happened to you :( I had two guys laugh and say "Ew" as they walked past me on the beach last year. I don't understand how people can be so cruel. I hope that when I reach my goal weight I can always figure which new people in my life are cruel like this and avoid them :/

CONGRATS!!! The thought of borrowing my little sister's clothes has def. been a motivator for me :)
-
Wow! Congrats on the loss! I was doing WW and then I quit and joined here. How do you feel you are eating differently now with WW? Obviously it's working, so I'd love some tips :) I stopped WW's because I wanted to have more control of what I was putting in my mouth. Although I was staying within my point range I felt like…

I can def. tell. Good job!!! :D

When I realized that I was good enough and that I could be whatever size I wanted. I remember looking at the scale and thinking "Well, I'm already fat so what's the use?". That was 45 lbs ago. It took me a while to realize that I can do it, but now that I understand that there is a way and I am worth it, I'm never going…
