I don't know if you have a TJ Maxx or a Marshall's near you, but they usually sell really good 'brand' exercise clothes at about half the usual cost. They have all types of clothes, for yoga, for running, for just about anything.

I have heard that drinking a lot of water, and also going from not a lot of water to quite a bit in one day, can hurt you more than help you. It's hard on your kidneys, or something. I agree with katiejarr. Work on what you are eating for now. You can also make plans for yourself for the different exercises you want to do.
