Foced night owl since I work Night Shift. Up until 8am... sleep until 3pm. Repeat. :-(

I am currently eating Paleo as a part of the "Whole 30" challenge for 30 days. I have to say.... I LOVE IT! I won't weigh in until June 30th, but I feel amazing. I think I may eat close to this for the long haul. Check out whole9life. com for more info (not my site, lol). I'd love some other paleo friends. :-)

I'm 27 and I just had my second child. He is 10 weeks old. This challenge sounds perfect. My 10 year high school reunion is in 6 weeks. Let's do it! :-)

I'm 27 with what feels like a whole person to lose :-) ...but I'm motivated, upbeat and spirited! Looking for motivated friends to assist me on my journey as I can assist them. Add me...

That is exactly what happened to me. I just woke up one morning and got tired of looking at my unhealthy looking body. So I got a gym membership and each day I ask myself "What have I done for my body today?" Remember it's a marathon, not a sprint. We can DO this!

Awesome! You look really handsome with the facial hair as well. Congrats on all of your success! :-)

I am coping with the same issues, but I refuse to let what I see in front of me define what I CAN be if I work hard. I have a 10 week old baby and I just started working out last week. I weigh 215 pounds but my pre-baby weight wasn't too much lower (195). Now, I can't wait to be 195 (the irony, lol) Thank you for creating…

Sharp cheddar... I hated when she (my mom) used to make baked mac and cheese with it. The bite was just too much for me. Now... I wish I hated it. lol (so fattening)

I'm 26 and I have at least 75 pounds to lose. Welcome!

I have the same issue. I am a college student, I work at a hospital (sometimes 12 hour shifts) and I have a 7 year old daughter. It is not easy, but nothing worth having ever is. On days that I attend school or work, I wake up at 4 or 5 am to work out. I know, it sounds nuts but it also forces me to go to bed at a…

Hello! I am 26 and also looking to drop some weight before I graduate. I become a Registered Nurse in May. I can definitely attest to the fact that school stress can pack on the pounds. Good luck in your journey. Feel free to add me....

I started at 214 and my goal weight is 135lbs. I have lost 18 pounds so far and about 2 people noticed... not many. As the winter weather ends and spring comes in and you take off the layers people will notice. Last time, it took until about 30 pounds until EVERYONE noticed, lol. Hang in there.

Ditto. Kickboxing is usually what I call it too.

My name is LaToya. I am a 25 year old, full time college student and mom of a 5 year old daughter. I currently work as a bookstore clerk. I am looking to get to a healthier weight by my birthday. (June 16th 2011) I don't want to carry my bad habits into the next quarter century of my life. I am motivated. I am focused and…

I agree with @rsonthelake BE HONEST when logging. it's the only way that MFP will work. Other than that, enjoy all of the cool and fun people on the site and browse public food diaries for tips and tricks on staying under your calories. Good Luck.

That sounds interesting given that I usually don't make it 21 days when I try to implement healthier lifestyle changes. There may be something to that theory. I'll give it a try.

Is it too late to jump on board? I'd love to participate....

I've been having the same problem lately. I'm trying so hard to get back on track, so I'm not sure if I can really give any advice. It's tough, but don't give up. My boyfriend always tells me that "Persistence beats Resistance everytime" and I find it to be true. If you need those snacks to get you through (Like I seem…

I'm 24 and on the same journey. I'd definitely like to be a part of something like this.

I'm in NE PA.... but in Monroe county. I probably wouldn't be the ideal exercise buddy though since I've been struggling to fit workouts into my hectic schedule. Glad to see other people in this area use MFP too. Good luck on your search. Sounds like a great idea...

I'm in a very similar predicament. I'm in my second year at a two year school as a general studies major (Registered Nursing Intent). Not only do I have a full course load (13 credits) but one of those classes is known as the "weeder" course (Human Anatomy and Physiology). I am also a officer position holding member of…

Agreed!

I do the same exact workout. Denise is amazing. I don't know how many calories it burns but I usually log it in as 20 minutes of high impact aerobics.... I'd be interested to know how accurate that is though.

I just turned 24 in June and I love new friends...lol

Thank You for the tip. I just logged on, it's a great site....
