I've recently returned to exercising. I forgot how good I feel when I get a good workout routine going. If you fall off, you just get right back on, regardless of how long it's been. Please feel free to add me! Many of my friends became inactive, so I could use more friends for motivation and encouragement.

Age: 45 Height: 5'4 Highest: 135 Current: 124 Goal: 118 I've been on MFP for quite some time but love this idea for new accountability. I was working out religiously until romance side-lined me. I'm recently married with no kids and 3 sassy felines. Starting back into fitness with on demand aerobic videos before…

I remember THE Luke & Laura episode on General Hospital. ...Solid Gold with Darcy the best dancer ...watching Grease when it first came out in the theaters ...celebrating the bi-centennial ...my dad getting an Apple computer when they were first introduced ...getting a Dorothy Hamill haircut ...crying to The Little House…

Yep, this just about covers all bases!

This is one of the clearest and to-the-point answers I've read so far. I especially agree with hormones pumped into the animals that we eat. The size of people 50-100 years ago were substantially smaller, not just in weight but their overall frames were on a smaller scale. Another thing I would add is that many people are…

Happy Birthday, from one 40 year old to another! This is the age of atonement for me. Every day that I'm alive is another day to be grateful and become a better me. Thank you so much for this post - really is right on the mark!

""I know, right!?" or "Just sayin"... ugh, so overused - needs to retire. I LOVE egg sandwichs that include mustard and mayo. Yummy yum-yum! Something my grandmother made when I was a kid and i've loved it ever since.

It is absolutely your right to not have kids and no one should ever judge you for it. It was this very site that reminded me of that.

Wow, what a moment. There is good and bad in all areas of life but we have to remember that good people exist, in spite of all the news we read. There are far more good people than we ever read or hear about. This story just breaks my heart.

You look amazing!!!! Thank you for sharing this with us!

Same here. My man couldn't care less about going to a strip club, even when I suggest it. Turns out, I'm more interested in going than he is.

I sympathize, I do! Thighs are my #1 concern. I'm pretty much thin everywhere but there (well, and the butt, however I don't mind that so much). Someone told me not to do the hip inductor - i'm not sure if I'm calling that right. You sit straddled with a machine and squeeze your legs together (think Thighmaster). They said…

I'm 40 and I was 28 when I was at my best shape and weight. I was running on a consistent basis. Although now that I think about it, I was running figuratively - pushing in extra projects or appointments on my schedule. It was always go, go, go and then I took a job that brought me less stress. The downside to that, of…

Hey, also keep in mind that some people (such as myself), inadvertently delete 1 or 2 peeps and then they (meaning me) thinks they got deleted! I can't be the only one here!!!

Thanks! Found it. :)

Good job in keeping it real. I would do the very same thing as you. I post my diary even if it's full of Krispy Kreme donuts, pizza and beer. If that means a weight gain, then I have to post that too. I don't have a ticker attached to my posts, though, I'll need to figure out how to do that.
