It's great to hear that it's not just me :). I've lost 55 lbs and I know there's a difference because I've gone down to a size 10 from a size 18-20, BUT, i don't see it in the mirror. It can be so frustrating! Just yesterday I looked at myself and was disgusted with how I look. How could I lose all that weight and still…

Go from the link and click on "join a league"...enter the name MFP Football and the actual league you are looking for will come up.
-
Ha Ha!! I found it. League name is MFP Football.
-
What's the name of the league? This link is showing Auction Keeper and it's full. I'm thinking that's not it since the draft date was 8/26. Am I missing something?
-
yes
-
Is this for guys only? I have a keeper league in Yahoo and have done random leagues at NFL.com.

I am right there with you! Once I dropped two pant sizes, and couldn't get away with wearing the bigger ones any longer, I went out and bought new clothes for work and some other stuff just because I could actually pull them off now that I was thinner. Problem now is my smaller clothes are now too big (Yay Me! ). I…

I added you

It took me a couple months on MFP to admit to my husband that I was over 200 lbs when I started....then I was able to tell him I was actually at 225. I am happy to say to anyone now that I am at 177...and even more proud to say I have lost 48lbs. Good for you admitting it to people...that's a great weight (no pun intended)…

^^^Enough said.

The Planking was killer. It's not just you, it is definitely much harder. Stay with it, it will be worth it. Good job!

bump...sounds great!

BUMP - sounds fantastic!!

NSV = Non Scale Victory :) Congrats on the loss...but sorry to hear about the ring. I agree with everyone else...a metal detector might be the way to go. Maybe you can rent one?

Make sure to give yourself recovery days. Working out every day you can actually be holding water in your muscles. Let your muscles recover. Also, mix up your exercises a bit, don't do the same thing every day. Depending on your exercises you could be losing fat but gaining muscle. In doing that you may not see the scale…

I started on MFP in mid March and have lost 40lbs. I agree with what everyone is saying...this isn't a diet, it's a lifestyle change. I eat what I want, I just watch my calorie count and I exercise almost daily. I'm doing Insanity now...before I started with MFP I wouldn't have even thought that was possible. My profile…

I have met some great people and friends on MFP! Feel free to add me. I will encourage you to keep going and applaude your successes.

Ahhh...the dreaded picture. That's what started it for me. Well whatever it took, you look amazing and you are doing an incredible job!

I started out at 222. I walked first, then did Zumba for a bit, then I did 30DS. I am down almost 40lbs and just started Insanity last week. Having done the 30DS is helpful because you get into the routine of quick work and some explosive cardio. There is no way I could have done Insanity first. I would suggest starting a…

What do any of you think about Body Revolution?? Doing Insanity right now but am thinking of doing Body Revolution after that. (sorry...didn't mean to horn in on your thread...I just didn't see that one mentioned). :blushing:

I have the Polar FT7...love it!

Guten Tag!! Well, I have just started my 2nd week of Insanity. I began at 222lbs 3 months ago and I am down to 184.5 now. I have an additional 30-35lb I would like to lose. I am 46 and live in Reno, NV. I have 3 kids (21, 20 & 9) and am very happily married. I am the Customer Service Manager for a global mining company…

I started week 2 yesterday. I definitely could use some motivation. I plan on sticking with this through Day 63 :). Add me if you'd like.

Very good point!! I have a Polar FT7...and I love it!! it cost me $75 but it was well worth it. I have heard the same about the cheaper models. Less features, not as reliable...plus you really want one with a chest strap (I don't believe the cheaper models have them).
-
When I started I only did cardio every day. I don't eat back my exercise calories but a lot of people do. That is up to you. I have lost consistently doing this. I have since moved on to Zumba, 30DS and now I'm doing Insanity. I have not done weights, not yet, I want to lose more fat first before that. The less you have to…

Yeah, that's why I came on MFP...to make fun of fat people....NOT! Epic fail! :grumble:

Wtf? I am amazed at the ignorant things that come out of people's mouths. SHE may not feel 16/18 is sexy but that does not mean everyone else feels that way. I wouldn't let that slide, no way...I agree with everyone else...either go back and speak to a manager or write the email/letter as another poster (?) advised. As…

Ugh...I've had the same problem since I started 3 months ago (not the oily stools though). Have tried fiber gummies, stool softeners, Activia...nothing seems to work. I do think I don't drink enough water though. Driving me crazy because before starting this I was very regular. Have not really changed my diet, just not…

Oh yeah!!! :glasses:
