Nice to meet everyone!!! It's so nice to hear why everyone is here! We all have one thing in common - we are making a change to better ourselves! :) Feel free to add me as a friend! I am not super active responding, but I love reading other people's statuses and seeing what foods they eat! :)

So I joined this board because I like to pretend I still live in Eastern NC! I grew up in Spivey's Corner/Dunn and went to NCSU. I currently live in Atlanta! I did Weight Watchers a few years ago and lost 45 lbs. I have gained quite a bit of it back, but hope to lose weight/inches before my wedding in August! :)

YUMMY!!! Can't wait to try!

I lost 45 lbs on WW and agree completely with this statement. The new PointsPlus program with the "zero point" fruit was causing me to gain weight and I got frustrated with the program. I was a lifetime member on the old plan, but realize now that I was starving my body of essential nutrients and MFP tracks that for me.…

i always add ketchup on top of my spaghetti. i also can't eat my eggs without ketchup... i love a banana and miracle whip sandwich. OH the best thing to eat with it...take a bite of fried chicken, then bite of sandwich.. The fried chicken/banana sandwich combo is VERY southern North Carolina! Not healthy, but delicious!

I bought this one on Amazon. I also have really small wrists so the Polar models were too big (I went to a local store to try them on in person :))... So far, I like it! It's a bit out of your price range, but I figured I'd share! http://www.amazon.com/Timex-Ironman-Trainer-Heart-Monitor/dp/B002EXJ4JY/ref=pd_rhf_gw_p_t_1

My favorite way to use them is simple: take the asparagus and cut them into small pieces (about 1" each). Saute them with some olive oil, crushed red pepper flakes, and garlic. Cook some pasta noodles (I like penne in this dish). Toss the two together. Add a healthy handful of Parmesan cheese. I like eating it as is (hot)…

I found a "bootcamp" that I like. It is conveniently at my workplace so it's hard finding an excuse not to go! Plus, I like the instructor so much that I make myself attend the Thursday 6:15 AM class when I am the opposite of a morning person! I feel stronger after just a couple of weeks of strength training! Sore, but…

I also do the "pizzas" toasting the wrap first then toppings and bake for 5 minutes. I use my countertop oven for these! Oh, and for a little pizzazzzzz add some crushed red pepper flakes and sprinkle of Parmesan cheese! :)

I was diagnosed when i was 17...I am going to turn 27. Tryiing to make people understand that my body works different was really hard at first. Some people didn't like to talk about it because they didn't fully understand! Good luck with your friends! True friends are hard to find! Feel free to add me and let me know if…
