it doesn't have much flavor, the red quinoa is a bit nuttier. I make it like it says on the bag but only about a serving size at a time. Then I saute some zucchini and onions and add to it, then add some Italian seasoning and about a 1/4 cup of tomato sauce, then sprinkle with a tiny bit of itlalian cheese

I am 5'1" I started at 201 and am currently hanging at 153-154. I have hit a plateau and am trying to figure out how to start losing again. I have recently started exercising more. I was doing one 20 minute workout now I do 2 or 3. Feel free to add me.

I kinda felt the same way when boyfriend got me a big box of chocolate last year for Valentines. He said he didn't really think about it, that everyone buys chocolate on valentines day. This year he asked me what I wanted and we went out and bought it together. I don't think your lover is trying to sabotage you. Also if…

I would log it as circuit training. I use kettlebells but I use a heart rate monitor. I burn 200-220 calories in 20 minutes.

I am having the same problem. I lost weight quickly in the beginning but now weight loss has pretty much came to a halt. I try to eat 1200 or more but it is hard. I try to eat pretty healthy and healthier choices tend to be lower in calories. I don't know if I should just go ahead and eat a spoonful of peanut butter in the…

@HDHogger : The fact that you are 50 and snowboarding. That is badass right there. Being adventurous is a sexy trait.

I guess I don't really notice much of a difference since I grew up with my mom putting a bunch of potatoes in a bag and nuking them in the microwave. I think the only time I may have had them cooked a different way might be when I have had a baked potato at a restaurant.

potatoes and bananas are not bad for you. I lost 45 pound eating a potato almost daily for dinner. Now that I have lost a significant amount of weight I am struggling to lose lately and have stopped eating potatoes for a while. I do however make smoothies with bananas and also eat bananas with pb2. Bananas are very good…

I got kinda lazy and also didn't eat too well around Thanksgiving and Christmas. I am trying to exercise at least 6 days a week and stay away from any snack food the bf brings into the home. It has been really hard to stay motivated. Feel free to add me. I could really use some motivation and will try to motivate you as…

yup I feel incredibly disgusting and see a much larger me when looking in the mirror. I wish this fat apron would go away and all this loose skin from both having kids and losing weight.
-
I agree with vapor. You may want to change it up a lil bit. Do weight training like 3 days a week and do cardio on your off days.
-
feel free to add me. I would like you to nudge me as well as I have been having trouble staying motivated as I have been battling depression lately

Different things work for different people. I tried upping my calories to 1400 but ended up gaining. Also I have read numerous studies and starvation mode is a myth. You would have to be extremely thin for you body to start holding on to fat as you body uses stored fat as energy when you are not fueling it enough. The…

my weight fluctuates all the time and it pisses me off. I am told it is more common in women, just something we have to deal with. Frustrating yes, but keep doing what you are doing and the weight will come off in no time
