So how many carbs should one aim for? My trainer say between 30g and 50g but a lot of the stuff I have read online says 20g-30g. Also is it true that someone who works out for an hour or more 6-7 days a week needs more carbs?

Just started keto last week. I am not sure how many carbs to aim for. My trainer says 30-50 grams. I am really missing my whole wheat tortillas, black beans and lentils.

I feel the same on most days. I feel ugly and fat. I would look better if I lost more weight but I will never be pretty. I feel uncomfortable and self conscious when being intimate with someone. I dont go out much, only to school and church and the store. I feel like I am different than other people and never seem to fit…

Just doing it even if I dont feel like it. I will be glad I did when all is said and done. Another thing is when I crave something unhealthy I stop and think, is this nutritious in any way? Is it going to fuel my body in any way?

Have never done a challenge before. I would be interested in joining. When and where do we post our current weight?

I use protein powder in the morning on my way to school for a quick smoothie in a blender cup and sometimes pre or post workout, and also sometimes when I am really low on calories that day. I have tried many different brands but just tried a new one for the first time today and so far it is my favorite. I found it 50% off…

I put my fish in a green pan with no oil. On one side of pan I melt a tiny bit of serrano pepper jelly and mix with a tiny bit of low sodium soy sauce. Then I braise my fish with this. Tastes so good, even my teenage son likes it.

For some people pizza is a trigger food. My bf gets it occasionally but tends to eat a whole pizza to himself. For me I cant have chocolate or tortilla chips in the house or I binge eat. What works for you may not work for another.

Can egg whites or flax eggs be used in place of whole eggs? Would it turn out ok?

I weigh my spinach, lettuce and other veggies and most fruit. But with bananas I use a ruler and log it as 6" or whatever I end up getting. I just started weighing my avocados to because not one is identical so I log them by weight now also.

I usually have a greek yogurt with a banana or some sort of smoothie. My sister recently gave me a bunch of Shakeology so I use that for a quick breakfast before heading to school in the morning. On occasion I eat 2 slices of whole wheat bread with 1/4-1/2 of an avocado with just a dash of salt.

1200 is not hard for me. I eat a very light breakfast if I eat breakfast usually around 200 calories or less. Lunch is usually around 350, than workout and have a low calorie snack, then dinner than if I am low on calories a snack. The trick is to eat low calorie foods like veggies, tofu noodles, fish, turkey and such

just watch the sodium, most lunch meat is pretty high in sodium

10 pound loss a week? Are you serious? *shakes head* Any more than 2 or 3 a week is very unhealthy.

it doesn't have much flavor, the red quinoa is a bit nuttier. I make it like it says on the bag but only about a serving size at a time. Then I saute some zucchini and onions and add to it, then add some Italian seasoning and about a 1/4 cup of tomato sauce, then sprinkle with a tiny bit of itlalian cheese
