I am 133 lbs at the moment. I want to get down to below 120. I would also like to look more muscled and for that I know I will have to start strength training.

Thanks for letting me know about his book. I have done lchf and lost 40 lbs by counting calories on mfp. When I tried to continue to lose w/o counting calories but continuing to do lchf I gained ten pounds back. It would be great to be able to eat and not have to worry about all the logging. Or find any other virgin drink that you like. A virgin Bloody Mary for example. If you like the taste, you won't feel like you're "sacrificing."

I'm 5'2" and weight 128.5. I would love to go lower as I feel I am still overweight although I am proud of the progress I have made thus far. As I can't seem to motivate myself to exercise I find I must eat at or below 1100 call to lose any weight, even a smidgen per week.

I think your idea of a step workout us fantastic. Very little space needed and many exercise variations possible. A good cardio workout and tones many muscles as well. Can be done to music or while watching TV.

I would say eat a lot less Carbs. Replace them with fats, especially healthy fats like avocados and olives. Caribs set up huge food cravings that are almost impossible to resist. Have a hard boiled egg for a snack. Or a can of sardines packed in olive oil. You can do it! Good luck.

May 18th I weigh 137.9 so in approx two weeks I have lost 2 pounds. Sheesh! Don't know if I'll make it!

I don't believe in baby steps. For me and this is my opinion people, doing everything at the same time makes it easier. You need to see some good results in order to stay motivated. I eat under 1200 most days and have lost over 25 pounds since Jan. 1. I am only 5 ft 2 inch and small boned so that is all I need. I am seldom hungry and more often find myself not hungry to eat the whole 1200. IMO I do not believe the 1200 is some magic number. Good luck to you.

In my opinion yes. I know that there will be some difference, but think that the benefit you gain from being able to socialize and eat a bit more on the weekends, outweighs it. I too have achy joints and have not motivated myself to do any exercise as of yet. I just wish I could think of something I would like to do. Everything including walking, in my opinion just isn't any fun. I admire you for your motivation that you have been able to start an exercise program. Keep up the good work!
