I'm about a year and a half into veganism and I love it! It definitely was hard for convenience and family reasons at first (still with family lol) but its gotten a lot easier as I've learned and found quick convenience foods for when I just don't have time or don't feel like cooking a whole crazy meal. Easing out of…

I love when they plan out a whole day of things they think or know I'll love. Food at an amazing place, a fun weird activity, back rubs, etc.

Try taking up a hobby, knitting or painting or something that makes you feel fulfilled in some way to occupy you when you have those feelings.

Soda is so addicting because 1) You are overloading on either aspertame or sugar (depending on your soda of choice) 2) The caffeine 3) Some people really need the burn of the carbonation, they love it. I stopped and restarted drinking soda sooo many times. I finally stopped for good about a year ago by first switching over…

Flamin hot cheetos and molten lava cake. Both terrible....but so good!

If you don't mind the taste (which is an exact replica of hot dog taste), lightlife smartdogs have 7 grams of protein per dog and are only 50 calories. A good way to get in a few extra grams at the end of the day. Women don't need a ton of protein and you aren't that far off the daily reccomendation.

Gardein is way better than morningstar. WAY better, also most their products don't contain GMOs. There are tons of meatless recipes that don't use meat substitutes that are also delicious.

make a list of goals that you want to accomplish this year of things that maybe you can't or wouldn't want to do in your current physical state like swimming everyday and laying out at the beach or hiking an amazing mountain, just anything you might hold yourself back from now and that you might gain from improving your…

I feel the same way, I've lost about 15 lbs but I still wear the same size (unbelievable!) and feel even fatter even though I have more muscle than I ever have.

I would love to be the type of person who just goes for a run outside but I can't make myself do it and also I look crazy (picture phoebe from friends lol). I need a routine where I actually go somewhere because once I'm there I feel to guilty to slack, I work my hardest and get over the this is so boring part of it. I go…

I do 45 minutes of stationary bike, 45 minutes of elliptical training, then another 20-45 minutes of weights/lifting every or every-other day (depending on my schedule). So far it's been great for fixing my softness but no so great for losing actual pounds on the scale. I've been stuck at around 142 for about a month or 2…

peanut butter toast is my go to snack if I HAVE to have something. The protein fills me up.

Let them go, if you have a hard time later on you will see those as back up and it will make it easier to eat your way back into them.

I don't know that it will help your sugar cravings but please give it up! The artificial sweetener turns to fermaldyhide in the body. It causes soooo much permanent damage to your brain/body. GIVE IT UP!!! To help reduce my sugar cravings I drink homemade smoothies with NO sugar. The fruit is sweet enough and once I've had…

I always was able to eat whatever I want and do nothing, then I turned 21 and the metabolism decided it was done.

Vanilla is great for baking, smoothies, etc. Plain for sauces.

You HAVE to eat things like brown rice, whole wheat products, beans, etc every single day or that will happen. At least that's the case for me.

If you really need sugar, drink a fresh/frozen fruit smoothie when you get off work. They are easy to make and so much better than any sugary snack. My craving goes away anytime I drink one. I don't think those cravings really fully go away if you just stop eating sugary things. I don't eat candy or snacks really at all…

Do it! I have been vegan (mostly sometimes I eat meat but never dairy) for a while now and it's amazing. It really is, you just feel so much lighter and don't have any issues with food digestion. At first you will feel really hungry all the time but you just need to adjust to needing to eat more often, you'll learn how…
