I've read that sugar from fruit is good sugar... Natural and unprocessed is the best kind of sugar... Only other sugar that's better is a sweet kisses from our loved ones.... Had to throw that in for Valentine's Day :wink:

I work for the school district and once a year they do a "Biggest Loser" type challenge. You win prizes and cash . You can work it off as a team as well as individually. My school went a step further and did the competition among our school teachers. Last year I won the challenge ;o) This year I don't know if we are doing…

If you are under the care of a physician I can understand. However, I agree that it is not a good idea to under eat. Your metabloism slows and your body will store the fat....

I am a special ed teacher... I work with children with autism.... I know I burn massive amounts of calories... and I think my hearing is going from the loud sounds !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! .... I'm working summer school.... :-/ It's been helpful because I think I would have lounged around the house eating allllllllllllll day!

Get a hand weight... 5lbs... weigh it .... calibrate your scale... then get on and weigh yourself.....

I had the same issue.... My nutritionist suggested eating a foods in rotation (never the same thing twice in a row). This helped. He also suggested that I do a different type of exercise during the week, at least 3 different.... Day 1 Zumba, Day 2 elliptical, Day 3 swimming..... You have to mix up your routine to trick…

Mix up your routines... don't eat the same foods each day... Watch your hypoglycemic index... Are you drinking a lot of water? All these things can effect your weight... You will be fine!

Hand me downs are the best!!! I am going through the same thing.... One of my coworkers gave me a few bags of clothing... I'm not ashamed of having them and wearing them to work... At 43 I've made some life altering chnages around my health... I love to eat however I wasn't eating the right foods... Since I've been on MFP I've lost 26 lbs.... gone down a size.... and can hike mountains!!! I no longer have the ills of my 20's and 30's.... My goal is to get healthy, travel the world, and zip line…

No conditioner... the Saran Wrap would slide off.... if you need to... wet your hair with water.... no need for the extra conditioner... you can see I wear an afro.... I swim 3 to 4 times a week... my hair is doing quite well...
