so the 88 standing minus 34 of normal burning = 54 calories extra per hour, so 486 for the long exhausting 9 hours. My calculations of "150 minutes of walking 2.0" were pretty close. Thank you, this was really helpful

This is what I do.... I try to save some calories (I don't succed all the time though), when I exercise I don't eat those calories back and save them for the day I plan to go out (friday or saturday) and also the day I go out I try to exercise a little more and I eat at mantainance that day. I hate any type of comment when they called them selves a little chubby or curvy when they are clearly obese or morbidly obese and they also say the need to lose like 30 lbs and that's it when they need to lose at least 100.... reality check please.

Start logging everything or you will never know if you actually eat what you think you eat. Everything counts. People usually underestimate food, even when they log everything. So you may think you are eating 1200 but you could be eating 1500 or 1700. Log everything and measure everything with a kitchen scale

If you don't like counting you could try good old fashion portion control. Serve your meals like you would normally do, eat half or 3/4.
