I saw someone slice them length ways and use them like a sub bread roll - with a sandwich filling like ham or cheese or whatever and make a bread less sub sandwich.

I have seen these dressing sprays in a can - this could add taste without a lot of calories. Alternatively, reducing the amount of mayo - I used to add tonnes of it, but found that really a small amount is only required. A balsamic vinegar might also work.

If you've never ran you probably will feel fatigued, burn, exhausted, wanna die etc. The second hand smoke may be a factor, may be you have asthma. I would stick with it - but perhaps lower the intensity as you're starting out running! Its tempting to go at it full force and kill yourself. I have smoked in my life and now…

have to agree

Incredible, Very motivating. Great results.

Everyday. I can't help myself. Every shift in the right direction motivates me. It may not be accurate in terms of ups and downs throughout the week/day. And then I also get weighed weekly by my pharmacist. It may not be healthy but when you're motivated and want to achieve a goal, its hard not to take a peek and see how…

Haha yes - those 2 calls - mmm let me think

Close the kitchen door and try to make it as a no go place past a certain time. There is no reason for you to go in there. Nothing to be gained. Go to sleep early. Better to go to sleep hungry than stay up all night munching away on unnecessary calories.

hahahahah thought it was just me!

This is controversial but i never eat the full calories. I don't think you need that many calories. My weight loss would be slower and I personally don't think I need all that food. Also I never eat my exercise calories. I just don't see the point. I'm not gonna go graft in the gym for 2 hours and then replace those…

I ate a can everyday for months. Sometimes i even ate 2 tins. I'm alive.
-
Also, sometimes it does help to be near people exercising in an empty gym - especially with treadmills - i dunno it can motivate you in an odd way, to keep up with them, to go at their pace or to last longer and keep going...kind of thing.

I know, I hate this too. Although I must say, I do have one cross trainer I only like to use and this may have been the case here. I will purposefully squeeze in between two people regardless of etiquette so i can use the machine i like.

Add me, I've been on for over a year but all my friends on here have pretty much fallen off the wagon too - so looking for some new friends who are motivated like me.
-
I agree, I hate that thing to. I never pay any attention to it. For starters, everyone is individual and loses different amounts. I suppose it is a guide to motivate us.
-
Agreed. You'll feel terrible after you've eaten them and then you'll want to binge on something else.

Nothing absolutely nothing!!! All I wear is black! It will be so nice to incorporate COLOUR and not feel like I stick out like a sore thumb! So nice to dump clothes that are either too small, i feel awkward wearing them or too big and baggy to hide me that I feel like I'm walking in a tent. It will be nice to actually…

Wow, that is an amazing achievement. You look like a different person. You must feel amazing!

I wish I could give up soda. I drink so much diet coke.

I think I am probably my own sabateur. I am too quick to throw in the towel and make excuses. Friends too can be sabateurs. Often without knowing, maybe not so much with food but especially with alcohol. If I am losing weight, I'm not drinking, I don't see the point of all that time on the treadmill for alcohol - so I…

I agree, it is over inflated. I can't believe I have burnt off all those calories. I use the machine readings and they are significantly lower. The readings it is giving me for just walking my dog also seem to high. If I need to use their estimates - I'm using it at 60% but yeah most of the time just goin on readouts.

I love Meryl Streep. Even though her character in Devil Wears Prada is a complete b@£$% I love it! Whilst training to be a doctor, I would speak to patients with smoking related illnesses and then go out and have a cigarette. I once saw Steve Martin in a video store whilst on holiday in Santa Monica. I once queued up to…

In the UK, we don't really have 'To Go Boxes' unless its a really informal place and perhaps you know the owners say at your local Indian or Chinese. In general, in a restaurant, people don't ask for their left overs to take over here. So asking for one at the start of the meal, here they wouldn't really know what I was…

Just noticed! This is madness! Mine keeps changing from luxury car rental to burgers... from GroupOn.

I think if you got to the point where you were full and then kept eating - then you should have left it. Over-eaters tend to be unable to recognise when they are full, they don't listen to their bodies. If you have allocated those calories then it doesn't mean you have to eat for the sake of eating. Just my two pence worth.

We can spend our whole lives waiting for that perfect moment. have spent my life saying - I'll lose weight after I've finished this...or when this is done I'll start eating right. In life, I've always held off feeling happy because I'm waiting for things to be just right. The truth is we can be run over by a bus tomorrow,…

You can really tell. Keep up the good work.
