  • I count water with fresh lemon, lime, cucumbers,or raspberries in it as water. I also count my water if i add a little crystal lite into it. But that's it. Some people will disagree with me but that's how i do it! It helps me drink more water if i add a lil something to it.

  • Yes!!!! Thanks for reminding me to look at the little things too!!! Keeps me motivated to continue my healthy lifestyle. Watch out for foods with omegga 6 in them. They cause swelling and inflamation. Omega 3s decrease inflamation so they are always the better choice. Keep up the excellent work!!!
  • I aim for 130 grams of protein per day. My settings originally were around 60. In weight loss mode protein is a good thing!!! Personally i look at my protein and calories first. I eat a highter protein and lower carb diet. Lean protein helps you build muscle which in turn helps you burn fat.

  • I think if you increase your protein intake every day (lean protein) you will notice a difference. I aim for 130 grams of protein per day. Try for around 100 g of protein to start and go from there. That could mean a chicken breast or a protein shake after each workout. Works for me! Good luck! You can do it!
  • I looked into this because a friend wanted to try it. It can increase blood pressure and heart rate and can interact with some medications.   • Personally i have changed my eatiing to higher protein and lower carbs. I am not counting carbs at all. Just trying to eat foods that are higher in protein and contain a 10 to 1 ratio with calories. Than the carbs just fall in line and i don't have to worry abt them.   • Take care.....not all protein shakes are meant to be used as a meal replacement. There are many good meal replacement shakes out there with protein in them. Read labels!!!!! In my opinion Protein shakes are a good snack or good before or after a workout.

  • Ooohhh.....that sounds so good. Love to freeze left over fruit before it goes bad and make smoothies. You can use juice and ice, or milk or soymilk.   • i use a lot of ice and frozen fruit and have not had an issue. Sometimes i have to stop the blend and shake it and blend again to get the ice to the bottem but it is not inconveinient for me to do so.

  • Protein is a must for me. If i dont get enough i don't drop weight and it is important for building muscle which burns fat.
