Yum! Marshmallow Peeps

It's 3:00am, I just got up to use the bathroom, and on my way back to bed I grabbed a cold beef rib out of the fridge and ate it. :-/
-
Probably. I'm pretty awesome.

Stay...and make a mental picture. Lol. (@ breesie. Lol)

Sounds delicious.

Not a fan of their burgers at Wendy's so it is easy for me to stay healthy there for me. Grilled chicken go-wrap's without sauce are good.

I have now. ;-) ...well the one profile pic anyway.

1600 calories isn't that big of a killer. Assuming your calorie deficit is 1000, that is only 600 over your maintenance calories for the day. When you think of it that way, it doesn't seem like as big of a deal. :)

Love this thread. Going to post mine when I get to a computer instead of the Kindle. :)

You can find healthy items at dollar stores if you look hard enough. Our 99¢ store here in town even has a produce section. A lot of the time healthy snacks are sold to these dollar stores because the general public would rather buy junk. ;-) Most of the summer my go-to snack was a Kashi black bean bbq chip that was…

So many people tend to jump in trying to "go big." While this is a great goal to work up to, it is absolutely possible to lose weight with moderate (or even no) exercise. If you eat at a deficit for a while, you will lose some initial weight. Try working out harder after you've been around a while. Take it slow, and you…

I stopped logging the FIRST time I lost weight with MFP and realized I was gaining it back. This time now that I am at my goal, I am going to keep logging so it doesn't happen again.

I see no problems in doing this. Keep your calories in range, and you should be good to go.

I have been actively searching for pumpkin butter, and last time I looked (about a week ago) the Trader Joe's around here did not have it yet.
-
Not necessarily a low calorie use for it, but while looking up recipe ideas I just came across the idea of heating the pumpkin butter and drizzling it over pumpkin ice cream. I can't wait for fall!

Pretty excited that I just found pumpkin butter at Target! I may be a little too easily excited.

I would like to buy this guy a pie.

This thread is exactly what I needed to get me motivated today.

Mean. Grr.

With the amount of activity you get during the day, working out may not be necessary for you. There are definitely plenty of snacks and foods that you can grab at grocery and convenience stores that can keep it low cal if you make the right choices. Instead of a candy bar, grab a rice krispy treat. Instead of a hamburger…

Grab a Hamilton Beach breakfast sandwich maker (got mine on Amazon for $24). You can throw everything in and have it cooking 5 minutes while you are getting ready in the morning. Great on the go breakfast for around 200 calories.

Thanks for the tips. When I initially started google searching, I wasn't finding much that seemed to work for me. The more I'm looking on youtube, I seem to be finding some great workouts! Anxious to get going! :-)

That is awesome that you were able to do this together. You are both stunning!
-
Awesome progress! Congrats! Makes me wish I had taken better progress pics along the way.

I know it's a tough transitions, but I have to say it... Light. Beer.

Another option is to use a lower calorie tortilla at lunch and make it a wrap, which would essentially cut your "bread" calories in half. Other suggestions may be to look for some lower calorie options for cheese and mayo. My food diary is open if you want some ideas. Now, I keep much more simple on my meals, but it could…

My diary is open. Feel free to add. I like to "diary stalk" for meal inspiration once in a while myself.

I can't do peanut butter because once I start, I will NOT stop!

My reply would probably be, "sure I can come by and give you a quote." I'll give you a discount of course since you're a friend/neighbor.
